Room had someone’s old socks in, there was moisture and condensation constantly on the windows, the bar and restaurant was chronically unstaffed and took ages to get served let alone get your order, the breakfast was pretty pathetic for the price point.

I was charged twice for the room (once via Expedia and one on request at the hotel). I flagged this within minutes and I have had no correspondence since (3 days ago). Bathroom also was filthy (urine stains on the floor tiles).

A shocking experience at the village hotel the room was dirty. Long black hair everywhere in the shower. The blinds were dirty the walls were marked and dirty. I complained but nobody seemed bothered.

The hotel looks nice, but I paid for everything I got, meaning no value was added. I could not believe I had to pay for a gym in a hotel I was lodged in. I also had to pay to use the work area even though I was lodged in the hotel. The breakfast I had to pay for, does not have varieties; I expected better.

Hotel excellent, dodgy lift
Stayed here multiple times and found the service, room, gym and pool all excellent. Only issue is the lift. Twice I got stuck until someone else called it to another floor. Talking to a few people at the time seems like it’s not an isolated incident either as they’d experienced similar things. Apart from that all great

Bin in hotel had used Tampons in on arrival. Pubic hair all over the bathroom floor. Had to change my own bed sheets as there was blood on them and no one was working in housekeeping. Was promised a call by a manage the following day - still waiting! I should have learned from previous stay as there was a used condom under the bed - they clearly don't clean the rooms or change sheets.

Liked the hotel in general. Good breakfast for £10 can’t complain. Only issue we had was bathtub plug got stuck and tub filled with water so not able to shower properly and no maintenance available on weekends. Would suggest having glasses in rooms along with mugs just for water or non hot drinks. Check in and check out was quick and staff on reception was friendly. No parking charges on weekend which was bonus! Onsite gym and pool which were good size and pool times/area just for kids which is good if travelling with babies/kids.

Check in was a quick process and reception staff helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and also communal areas. My husband used the gym and said it had good equipment and facilities. We enjoyed breakfast and basic range of food.

They put us in the room right outside the elevator, so naturally it was the noisiest area, all night people shouting down the hall way, got woken a few times, same in the morning! The room we got was a connecting room, no idea why we were put in there! Stained carpets and old yellow dirty toilet seat, obviously hasn’t been cleaned well over the years. The lady at checkin had an obvious attitude. Definitely won’t be staying again for the price we paid, only reason we didn’t make a fuss was we arrived late just to sleep and left early in the morning. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, they had placed shampoo there instead. Not worth the price in summary!

Slow service. Noisy bar!
Got to be the noisiest place I’ve stayed in this year! Too many people being served by too few staff. Queues at the bar for most of the nights. If I hadn’t been so tired I’d have gone out to look for somewhere more normal.

Stay here most weeks with work, usually good, but recently service in bar and restaurant has ben really poor. Stayed on 26th September and one person serving in restaurant for both food and drink, card machine didnt work stood in long queue for 20 mins just to order meal and a pint!! Normally very good, but starting to slip
