Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and small fridge was all we needed.

'We waren hier in verband met een hondenshow. Ze dachten super met ons mee en hadden goede aanbeveling voor een lokale pub waar de hond welkom was. Personeel was supervriendelijk en deden niet moeilijk toen we na de show op onze kamer wilden eten in plaats van in de lobby. Kwamen de pizza zelfs naar de kamer brengen. "Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also very clean. The discount at the pub was a nice bonus; they have a nice selection of beers at good prices."
