'Stayed many many times over many years and always enjoyed the very friendly staff and the nice ambience AND the food. Also, great real ale! Very clean, good sized, comfortable rooms. Great food in the restaurant but this time the pork was not to my liking. Also, couldn't help but notice the reduced service at breakfast---where did those tiny coffee cups come from!? 'A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see.
