'Fantastisch '

'Great space, modern touches in a very central part of the city. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The pull out couch was as expected, so may be better with younger children, but overall, very happy with our stay.'

'Hotel just in center of Reykjavik, comfortable proper rooms. Luxury bathroom. Lots of restaurants on walking distance (5-15 min). Good breakfast. One disadvantage: there is no parking facility. We paid €80 each night in the nearby parking garage (advised / proposed by the hotel reception desk), that's an expensive parking.'

'The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected.'

'Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. '

'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say. The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor. The room was spaceous, the beds...

'We arrived early and left our luggage to explore Reykjavik, which was no problem at all. Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, but the staff approached me later with a spontaneous offer for a complementary breakfast. And the room location turned out to not be a problem. 'Hotel is very good, very well maintained, nice rooms. Two downsides: You have to use the elevator, there are no stairs, except dor emergencies. At night it is very loud from outside with partying people. If you sleep with open windows, you have a challenge to fall asleep. '
