'The property itself was beautiful but unfortunately at this time of year (early May) there was a lot of sargassum so we did not enjoy the resort's beach. The pool was a nice sub. The food at the local restaurants in San Pedro were better than the resort's restaurant but it was convienent and decent. Important to note that at the resort bar and restaurant they do not sell any hard liquor, only beer and wine. In comparison to another 4 star Belizian resort we had just stayed at, we did feel it...

'Pretty room. Kitchen was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Mosquitoes were fierce! It would have been nice to have shampoo and soap for the shower. Walkable to nice beach and restaurants. Would stay again.'

'Located right in the town.. Close proximity to many restaurants and party spots. Cheffy is the host and he is very helpful. He recommended spots for me to visit and was very attentive whenever he was needed. You can also drive to Secret Beach from here and its about 40mins by golf cart but I recommend the drive because its very scenic and you get to see the island.. I'd definitely recommend here for the price and the location and knowing you can get assistance from Cheffy.'

'Aruna Resort & Villas is a beautiful place to stay if you’re visiting San Pedro. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating and cater to your every wish from the front office of Rose and Suzy, to the wait staff and boat captains. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the boat to come and pick us up to take us to San Pedro or back to the resort. The resort is beautifully landscaped. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the views are wonderful. Truly a vacation to remember. '

'I came to celebrate my birthday & had such a pleasant experience. All of the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything I needed (water, microwave, fridge). The location is also walking distance from a lot of bars & restaurants. It wasn’t loud or crowded near the hotel which is a plus. I’m definitely coming back!'

'The property is in the vicinity of lots of restaurants. I highly recommend Garifuna Soul Food Restaurant. I had a King Room Deluxe which had a full kitchen with anything you need to cook, store and reheat your food. Thus room type really allows you to ger comfortable and store your belongings away. The concierge was very helpful with recommending dining options like Sweet Tutz. The food there was very authentic and reasonably priced! 1 of 2 pools on-site was open for most days of my stay....

'The staff was absolutely wonderful. We did not have hot water for a day or two (happens often on the island) and when we notified the staff, they were immediately responsive. Zero complaints about the hospitality overall. If you are looking for 5 star quality accommodations, you may be disappointed, but this is no shade on this operation. We are divers and the rooms were just a smidge too small for all our dive gear and suitcases/storage. For a mid-range priced resort, this was good. A/C...
