'The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!'

'The house was very charming! Highlights were the hardwood floors, tasteful decor, cleanliness, and friendly welcome! The property has been well maintained, with very clean and updated bathrooms, comfortable beds upstairs, and spacious kitchen, dining, and family/living areas downstairs. We played games and watched a couple movies during our stay, and walked the short distance to enjoy the downtown square to shop, dine, and browse the farmers market. And that was all before the Saturday evening...

It was a basement apartment with a charming kitchen equipped with so many extra special touches (espresso machine stocked with pods, coffee press and drip machine with coffee provided, milk frother, welcome basket with snacks). 'Overall the experience was frustrating as when we arrived to the property it was not cleaned, no beds ready, and no laundry done. The house was not cleaned until 10:30 PM. After reaching out to the property manager multiple times there was never a response that corrected their mistake and compensated us for not being able to use the property until 6 or more hours after the check-in date. '

'SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. 'Great to visit Mineral Point '

'The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I noticed an oscillating fan that wasn't working and let the owner know; Maureen took care of it right away. The location is ideal. Close to New Glarus, Madison, and so many other great places to visit. We found some interesting games to play in the kitchen closet: Cat Crimes and Twizzle. One thing perhaps a bit surprising for an apartment: very quiet. Didn't hear any neighbor the entire visit!'

'My family has found our new home away from home when visiting Wisconsin!! We loved the ease in checkin and communication with the host. Plenty of space for my family and everything we needed. Very close to downtown restaurants, grocery store as well as easy route to Mineral Point and Dodgeville.
