Texas Hill Country Paradise met een prachtig uitzicht dicht bij Hill Country Wineries

Blanco is een verborgen schat in het hart van Texas Hill Country aan de Blanco-rivier, slechts 80 kilometer ten noorden van het centrum van San Antonio en bijna dezelfde afstand ten westen van Austin. Je bent 15 minuten van Wimberley, 15 minuten van Dripping Springs, 25 minuten van Johnson City.

Onze ranch biedt een unieke Texas Hill Country-ervaring en heeft gemakkelijk toegang tot de omliggende attracties. Het ligt in de buurt van meer dan 30 wijnmakerijen en verschillende staatsparken. Dit is de plek die je krijgt in een "Hill Country State of Mind". De wegen in het hele heuvelland variëren van verhard tot onverhard en allemaal op glooiende heuvels. Wees voorbereid om de minder bereisde weg te nemen, want hier zijn de schatten te vinden!

Tijdens uw verblijf zult u genieten van een onvergetelijke vakantie in ons volledig ingerichte Hill Country Home van 1520 m² met 3 slaapkamers / 2 badkamers op 40 hectare. De hoofd- / hoofdslaapkamer heeft een queensize bed, terwijl de overige kamers zijn ingericht met een groot bed en een met 2 eenpersoonsbedden. Het is comfortabel voor 6 personen.  Alle bedden zijn voorzien van beddengoed en extra dekens en kussens. De badkamers zijn gevuld met handdoeken, waskleding, handdoeken en zwarte microfiber handdoeken voor het verwijderen van make-up.

De woonkamer is ingericht met tv, blueray-speler en DirectTV.  De keuken is voorzien van alle nieuwe apparaten en is gevuld met alle benodigde items om te koken, waaronder borden, bestek, glazen, wijnglazen, koffiemokken en meer.

Nieuw filtersysteem voor het hele huis en waterverzachter geïnstalleerd plus omgekeerd osmosesysteem aangesloten op koelkast voor zuiver drinkwater.

Er is een draagbare koelunit in de slaapkamer op de bovenverdieping voor extra koeling als de warmte stijgt en we willen dat u zich comfortabel voelt.

Er zijn kilometerslange wandelpaden en uitzichten. Breng de dag door met een wijnmakerijtour, dobber de Guadalupe, bekijk lokale zwemgaten of wandel over de paden op ons terrein op zoek naar pijlpunten. Ga naar Wimberley of Dripping Springs voor lekker eten en winkelen.

Bekijk de zonsondergang vanaf de uitgestrekte veranda of balkon van de slaapkamer boven. Koester de tijd van uw gezin bij de vuurplaats die marshmellows roostert, smores maakt en meer sterren inneemt dan u ooit hebt gezien! Er is 1. 7 mijl onverharde weg naar de ingang van het pand.

Beautiful Views

Just what we needed. I’ve told my daughter (10) and son (17) about the stars at night in the Hill Country. Was finally able to have them see them…..all of them! The sunsets here are magical and the fire pit was perfect for smores. Everything you could possibly need is here waiting for you. Will definitely book again! Secluded Cabin

We spent a, very rainy, 4th of July weekend here with our son and a friend of ours. The location was exactly what we were looking for, secluded with a great view, even if the weather didn't cooperate.The cabin was nice, the kitchen well stocked and it was generally pretty clean. We did have a problem with ants in a few places, but that can be common with a lot of rain in the area.There was a bit of a musty smell, especially upstairs, which might be caused by the fact that there are no AC vents upstairs. They did have a portable unit, which helped a bit, but it was still pretty stuffy. Also, one of the bedrooms upstairs is actually in a common area without a door.We had a lot of automated texts and emails from the hosts before and throughout our stay, but we got no reply when we mentioned the ants after check out.Also, we had a bit of trouble finding the place: we were actually going the right way, but there was a fork in the road and a blind curve that made us wonder. A bit if extra description of the driveway after the gate would have been helpful.

Needed a few days to recharge and was blown away. The views are simply amazing and the drive down the gravel road to get to the property was one of the main highlights for us. Upon arrival everything from the outside to the inside was very clean and tidy. You can tell the owners take pride in hosting their guest. If you need a few days from the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. Communication with the host was impeccable,(Thank you Teresa) Cant wait to get back here for an even longer stay.

Great views in the Hill Country

We enjoyed our stay at this Hill Country house. The owners were very nice, frequently checking on us. The house was very clean with comfortable living room, as described online but with room for improvement regarding a few things (limited silverware and glassware, low water pressure, upstairs A/C insufficient on hot days). The location is very peaceful and the views are absolutely amazing. Totally worth it!

Central Location

We make an annual trip to the Texas Hill Wineries. Lonesome Dove was a great location for our favorite places. We enjoy the quiet, remote places to stay and this was right on target. Remote enough with a one hour drive max to the best wineries. The view was spectacular and the home was clean and comfortable.

Exceptional accommodations and spectacular night sky

This property is classic Hill Country, with gorgeous views, spacious privacy, and a beautiful, comfortable house. Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Blanco and Johnson City are short rides away. The owner was great to work with, very responsive and helpful, even as they dealt with their own family emergency. We had everything we needed for a long weekend of astrophotography: a timelapse of breathtaking starry night skies and the April 8 2024 total eclipse. Thank you again Teresa for your excellent support! We hope to come back later in the summer when the Milky Way galactic center is high in the night sky.

Hill Top Hidaway

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed walking and hiking the 40acs. Lots of fossils and even found an artifact. If you're an outdoors enthusiast you'll love this place. Pet friendly at a reasonable price. Definitley coming back.

Wonderful hill country hideway

Great get-a-way property! You feel like you're at the end of the world, but you're close enough to everything in hill country. Never ending view. Millions of stars us city folk have never seen. Loved our stay/awesome star gazing

This property is wonderful. We really enjoy sitting on the front porch. We walked a trail with our dogs. We made s'mores on the fire pit overlooking the canyon. The beds were comfortable. The star gazing was out of this world. We saw satellites moving across the sky, the big dipper so bright and many other constellations. Lots of shooting stars. We will definitely return to stay here this Fall or Winter.
