Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr schön und man merkt absolut nicht, dass das Hotel so viele Zimmer hat. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett. Das Essen war immer lecker, jeder findet überall was. Die Strände sind alle toll, sauber und sehr schön. Die Flugzeuge stören nicht und auch der kurze Transfer zum Flughafen ist angenehm. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

The hotel is situated in a lovely area but it’s neighbourhood is the airport next door which is fine so you can see your flight leave everyday! The personal are polite and motivated to assist you with all needs! The can handle up to 500-600 people we where told but everyone’s spreads out during the day and there are many dining locations at night! Food is wonderful and plentiful and we had half board which was enough! The rooms are spacious and very clean and the housekeeping was always present! Really everyone who works deserves a big mention! Excellent activities for the kids also! We will be returning! Have a great time!

L'emplacement est fantastique. Les services proposés sont vraiment sympas (bateau à fond de verre, ski nautique, kayak, etc ...) , tout le personnel est attentionné et aimable. La nourriture est variée, de qualité, aussi bien au petit-déjeuner qu'au dîner. La piscine pourrait être chauffée par contre :) Bref, à refaire !

Very disappointing experience!
This hotel is for sure over-rated, it recently lost 1 star and it's no surprise. It is a 3 star at most: - poor management - NO customer service: the staff is not professional at all (except for one waiter at the sirius), they clearly don't care about clients. Not even able to make a reservation at the restaurant for us, we had to beg for a day. They promised a cake for our wedding anniversary that we never got :(. - room needs to be refreshed - planes flying above your head Our worst experience in Mauritius. Very surprising and disappointing for a Beachcomber.

Fint hotell med fine strender. Fin beliggenhet. Alltid ledige solsenger. Kjekt med gratis utleie av kajakk, padleboard, seilbåt, trøbåt og vannski. Gratis båttur for snorkling og glassbåt. Dersom det er noe som trekker ned, så er det at det er ingenting utenfor hotellet. Ingen butikker, ingen restauranger, ingen boder etc, så ein er "hengitt" til hotellet.

Very nice location, 10 min from the airport, All staff in the hotel, except for the main restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The main restaurant is very busy during dinner, and food in bain-marie is not topped up regularly enough. We had to wait in long lines before we could be served. The guy at the pizza station only makes 1 pizza at a time when the oven can take at least 4, resulting in frustration among diners. Change in the restaurant manager might be a good idea

One of the sink was clogged, toilet flush make very loud sound , I checked out at 5:45am , but I told the clerk at counter that my wife will check out after 11:00am , but while my wife was out to have breakfast at hotel , someone came in to the room opens the closet and took the soap , lucky my wife had put her important belongings in the safe that was in the room . One of the drink serving waiter was rude and ignorant ,he had attitude , he was a black man , I didnt know his name . As I checked in I told the clerk at check in counter to arrange taxi for me for next day to pick me up at 5:45am , they didn’t have any answer when I called them on phone from my room , I had to walk back down at 9:30pm Approx. to reconfirm it . I give 3 1/2 stars to this hotel , and it’s over priced I paid $446 for one night .

Das Shandrani Beachcomber war das beste Hotel unserer Reise. Wir entschieden uns kurzfristig, 2 Nächte in diesem Ressort zu verbringen, da wir mit unserem vorigen Hotel nicht zufrieden waren und von dort vorzeitig abreisten. Die Anlage des Shandrani Beachcomber gleicht einem großen Park und ist sehr sauber. Es hat mehrere Strände, 5 Restaurants, 2 tolle Pools und ein großes Freizeitangebot. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, mit einem tollen Balkon mit Meerblick. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Wir haben nur im Hauptrestaurant das Buffet genutzt. Beim Abendessen werden verschiedene Themenbuffets angeboten. Die Desserts waren ein Traum. Die à la carte Restaurants haben wir nicht ausprobiert, sahen aber alle toll aus. Das gesamte Personal ist äußerst freundlich und bemüht. Mr. LAVAL, unser Housekeeper, hat uns bestens betreut. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir auch Mr. ASHVIN vom Bootshaus. Mit ihm unternahmen wir eine Katamaran-Tour, die definitiv das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war. Wenn wir wieder nach Mauritius kommen, werden wir bestimmt mehr Zeit im Shandrani Beachcomber verbringen.

Pro: Beautiful location and with a selection of restaurants. Food was amazing as expected. We had a Deluxe family room that gave onto the sea, which was amazing. Lovely people who would take you on their travel carts to our room as it was quite far away from reception. Bar staff were very hard working and professional. Cons: Hotel room felt very dated. We had issues with the cleanliness of the room, bathroom especially which I had to formally complain about. Reception desk people could be more professional and apologise when making mistakes as we were being charged for using minibar despite being on all inclusive and despite calling them twice to sort out cleanliness issue for our room, nothing was done. Some staff at the buffet restaurant can be a bit more welcoming and smiling whilst providing their services.

Le lieu est agréable mais le personnel pas efficace. A l’accueil au départ pas un merci pas un au revoir rien qui vous invite à revenir. Cote hygiène les tables dans le hall d’accueil sont souvent humides et pas nettoyées. Le personnel assez timide et peu souriant. Ils ont l’air plutôt stressés. Nous avons remarqué une baisse de professionnalisme comparé à quelques années de cela quand nous étions venus. Les chambres manquent de rénovation, abat jour cassé, mauvaise évacuation d’eau à la douche, rouille au niveau fenêtre des toilettes, pas de cadeau d’accueil dans la chambre, sorties de bain jauni , pantoufles pas emballées, peinture pas fraîche .

Top Hotel mit hervorragendem Service
Wir waren für 10 Tage im Shandrani Resort und Spa und haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt. Von der ersten Minute an waren alle Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war große Klasse. Besonders gutes Essen und Service haben wir im Thai Restaurant erlebt. Einfach top!!! Auch als Vegetarier gab es überall eine gute Auswahl. Unsere Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Pool und im Kids Club. Das Team hat sich super um die Kinder gekümmert und hatte auch viel Spaß dabei. Wir haben auch eine Familien-Wanderung mit Stenial gemacht und dabei viel über die Umgebung und die Insel gelernt! Eine absolute Empfehlung! Stenial bietet auch andere Touren an, die haben wir aber, da wir eh ein eigenes Auto hatten, auf eigene Faust unternommen. Aber wenn ihr nicht mobil seid, entdeckt die Insel mit Stenial! Ich möchte außerdem hervorheben, dass am Strand zwar Verkäufer waren, die aber nie aufdringlich wurden, sondern direkt weitergegangen sind. Wir haben uns trotzdem schöne Armbänder als Erinnerung gekauft. Hervorheben möchte ich auch noch unseren Zimmer-Service. Moonsamy war immer total aufmerksam und das Zimmer war einwandfrei! Auch Sanjiv vom Service hat sich super gekümmert! Ich würde gerne noch viel mehr Namen nennen, habe aber leider vergessen sie aufzuschreiben. Aber ich kann sagen, es gab niemanden, bei dem wir unzufrieden waren, nur welche, die eben einfach noch etwas herausgestochen haben! Danke dafür!

Bonito mas caro pelo serviço.
Hotel é bonito e bem cuidado. Oferecem esportes aquaticos (inclusive motorizado) todo os dias sem custo extra. 23h termina o serviço all inclusive. Se quiser beber tem que pagar extra (ridículo). Algo mais absurdo é que das 22h fecha todos os restaurantes e não há opção de comida (nem mesmo lanche) até a abertura do café as 7h. Opções de bebidas bem restrita pelo valor do all inclusive. Qualidade da comida intermediária, nada espetacular. É um bom hotel, mas peca pela qualidade do entretenimento noturno, alimentação e bebidas.

Resort close to the airport
If you stay here, make sure to book your restaurants BEFORE check-in. We had paid for half-board but we’re directed to eat the buffet “as all other restaurants at the resort where fully booked”. The once we saw where half-empty that same evening…Rooms are acceptable, but outdated and not very modern. The pool had a only of stones in it, don’t understand why they don’t clean it every day. Service is generally good here but my general impression is that the service level on the whole island has dropped quite significantly compared to before Covid-19.

le personnel est aux petits soins, il y a même une infirmerie et en cas de petits bobos, c'est bien pratique ! les buffets sont copieux et variés d'un jour à l'autre l'hôtel est très propre, et toute demande est rapidement traitée

Beautiful resort, large but spacious so it never feels too busy. The service is a little slow but friendly so you need to relax into the island life and not expect instant attention. Very clean. Boat house staff are excellent and if you want to learn to water ski you are in good hands. Lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Food is pretty good. We found the restaurants no better than the buffet, only that you get table service.
