'The hostel was super clean and comfortable. They allowed us to check in early. It smelt amazing, the staff were super helpful. Room was spacious clean, shower was powerful. Bed was a little hard but we liked that. Allowed us to leave our bags before our pickup. Great location. '

'I was a tad hesitant to book this into this hidden gem however very glad I did!
Super friendly and very accommodating staff ! They are what makes this place a solid 10/10!
Daily housekeeping was done and the smaller room was cleaned with fresh linens and towels.
The only negative is they leave the hallway outside area lights on all night which soak low light in on ones face! However the staff accommodated a request to close off the areas that allowed light in.

'We stayed in The Oceanic Sportel for 5 nights. We, however, spent most of the days on tours and did not use any of the facilities hotel offers (pool, gym, tennis courts). Be aware of the location of the hotel, there are no close beaches as most of them are on the other side of the island. The staff is always nice. We took breakfast at the hotel as well. The breakfast offers a lot to choose from. '

The lady at reception upgraded us to a lovely room, absolutely massive, balcony and king sized bed
Only a 10 min drive from the Old town

Modern en strak hotel vlak aan zee
Dit hotel heeft stijlvolle kamers ze zijn niet heel groot maar wel gezellig, badkamer is functioneel maar niet groot, wel een fijne inloopdouche.
Op de kamer is een kluisje en een klein koelkastje.
Het hotel was heerlijk schoon.
Om de 3 dag krijg je schone lakens, en iedere dag schone handdoeken.
Helaas zaten wij aan de achterkant van het hotel, waar je directe inkijk in de kamer heb van een ander hotel
Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en een ruime zitgelegenheid zowel binnen als buiten.
Het zwembad loopt door de gehele tuin, en er staan genoeg bedjes en stoelen, ook is er een handoek-servies.
Aan de voorkant van het hotel is ook nog een bijbehorende beach club waar je vrij gebruik van kan maken.
Op het strand voor het hotel worden strandbedjes verhuur, 200 Baht voor 2 bedjes en een parasol.
Het hotel zit op loopafstand van veel eetgelegenheden en bars
Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de taxi-service van en naar het locale vliegveld, dit is prima geregeld.
Tenslotte, het personeel is super vriendelijk en helpen waar ze kunnen
En hotel manager Ben is erg betrokken en geef goede adviezen, waarvoor nog dank 🙏

"The hotel facilities at the pool are really dirty. Also, the pick-up didn’t work well. We had to wait long several times to get from our hotel room to the lobby (40 min waiting). Last but not least, they forgot putting in towels several times in our room so after our shower we realized we couldn’t dry ourselves… this is one of the many mistakes we encountered during our trip. For a 5 star hotel, we expect more. Nevertheless the environment is beautiful, it has the capacities to fullfill a 5 star hotel if there wouldn’t be so many mistakes. "
