'Wonderful location, which we chose as a base to explore other coastal towns nearby such as Camden and Belfast. The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. Walking across the street to a lobster dinner on the water was an added bonus. We’d love to return to the Spouter Inn. '

'We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access. The only real negative in my view is the close proximity to the main road.'

'Very quiet cabin, perfect for 5-6 people to spend a long weekend or even a week. Although Acadia is a good 50 minute away, I would not hesitate to stay here if visiting Bar Harbor region again. '

'We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. 'We loved the close proximity to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and the quiet, wooded location of our cabin. We had every amenity we could want in this beautiful little cabin! Highly recommended— would definitely book a stay there again!'
