It’s cozy but has everything you may need, apart from a washer and dryer which we did not need while we were there. Camille was available for any questions. 'This was our second stay at the Secret Shack and we can’t say enough good things. Chris is an amazing host and everything was better than expected. Many upgrades since our last stay including new furniture, appliances, and a gas fireplace were fantastic. The view is amazing and so cool to wake up to in the master bedroom. Plenty of towels and the bed linens are super comfortable. The hot tub is a nice touch as many smaller properties lack this. We’d give more stars if we could and would love to...

'This is a great property if you are looking for a private, quiet and relaxing stay in the woods! They had everything we needed and then some. The hosts are very responsive. I especially liked that it was pet friendly. Easy to get to west Jefferson, Lansing, Grayson Highlands State Park & more. Would stay again! '

'This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. This place really feels like home. 🥰'
