'What a lovely stay! My husband booked this spot for a two night getaway for my 40th so I could have a nice break from toddlering. I didn’t meet the host but I’m sure she’s great. I did meet the dogs, also great. In terms of the amenities, the kitchen was stocked with tons of little thoughtful items ie: popcorn, wine, filtered water, soups etc… The bathroom was also stocked with everything you need, even lotion (rare). The view was beautiful to wake up to and I can’t recommend this space enough...

'Beautiful Sunsets, older cabin, not too steep of a drive up, outside deck is nice and fire pit area out front! Harper’s Ferry Area is cute and full of history! Be in shape to hike and climb while you are here, especially if you plan on doing a ghost walk after walking the town all day! 5 friends girls trip was great! '

'Worst experience. at 2:30pm (with a 3pm check-in time) i received a text message (not a call) to say the property will not be available due to the property not be reachable due to road conditions. ok. this can indeed happen but here is where I don't believe a word of what they told me. They waited until 30min before our arrival and offered another weekend.... we were already on the road. we should have been given ample time. They said it was due to the weather... there was a tiny bit of ice and...

'The host, Mountain Mama, was great on communication throughout our stay. However, we had several serious issues with appliances and electronic devices. Some of them being health hazards and at least one of them a safety hazard. Although Mountain Mama sent out maintenance people to deal with the issues, the problems were not fully resolved during our stay. '

'Beautiful location, lovely house and kitchen, plenty of space. Would have appreciated a print out of the house and area information so everyone could easily review it and the lack of supplied firewood was a surprise to everyone.Nice hikes and parks nearby, a day at Harper's Ferry Park was really nice, thanks to the Governor of West Virginia the Welcome Center was staffed and so helpful.'
