'Christie’s place is exactly as described and her reccomendations were excellent. The room was beautiful with charming personal touches. The screened in porch overlooking the back yard was a perfect spot for coffee in the morning or to unwind after a hike. The location was walkable to both lower town as well as a few lesser known spots in “upper town”. We will definately keep this place in mind for our next visit to Harpers Ferry.'

'My wife and I were staying here for our wedding day that was taking place up the road. This stay was one of our favorites that we have done. The owners are vwry patient and responsive. The guest suit is very clean and comfortable with alot of natural light. I definitely recommend this property. Also, they dogs that live on the property are great and will greet you outside.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Train Station. The location was out of the traffic of the tourist areas, but they were easily accesible. It was very peaceful in the woods and the house itself was well stocked and the beds were comfortable! If you are looking for a place that has a great place to hang out together as a family (like a comfortable living room with a big sectional sofa) this is not the place you are looking for. 'We really enjoyed our stay at this location, it’s a hidden gem with beautiful countryside around it, a great host couple, and many places to explore close by. Our 4 year old daughter loved the horses, alpacas and dogs on the property. Great long weekend location outside DC. Very cozy, well maintained house.'

'Really disappointed. The house looks nice on the outside but on the inside, there was serious need of cleaning and upgrade. We rented the guest house since there were 3 of us. Very outdated and dirty. The comforter not clean. The second bed was the pull out sofa. The host later brought a pile of linens as if just out of the dryer for the bed…not folded and not made up before we arrived. The worst part was a very strong must odor. Smelled moldy. We just couldn’t get comfortable. Moldiness makes...

'Loved our stay at the cottage! We got take out from the brewery one night and cooked all other meals during our 3 night stay with another couple. Kitchen had everything we needed. Also enjoyed the grill, fire pit and comfortable beds and living area! Loved the proximity to great trails and enjoyed beautiful views and beer at the brewery. Hope to return!'

'My fiancé and I celebrated our joint bachelor party at this gorgeous property and we had an amazing time! The house was absolutely gorgeous and better than the photos in my opinion. Each room was stunning and comfortable for our 18 total guests. And the location was fantastic too! We were a 2 min drive to Twin Oaks Winery and there is a brewery right next door too! 10/10 and can’t wait to visit again!'
