'Our stay at Lusty Beg Island Hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standard expected for the price. We paid over £500 for two rooms. Although the receptionist was pleasant, we received little information beyond a map, and a supervisor later had to provide the details that should have been given on arrival.

'An unbelievably pleasant stay. Derg Arms was a half way stop for me as I was traveling between Sligo and the north coast of Ireland. For a really good nightly rate i got a well maintained, clean room and a fantastic free breakfast in the morning

The community center was adjacent to the property with a walking track which was fabulous on overcast days when you want to walk but not get caught in the rain.
