' I booked 3 lodges for family and friends for my daughter’s 40th birthday. We all loved our stay, despite the weather. The lodges were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Grandchildren had a brilliant time with the outdoor space, swimming & dry sledging. Would have loved more time but we will certainly be back as there is so much we haven’t done. Local people & shop staff were very helpful and friendly.'

'Mooi, groot huis. Keuken en badkamers ( wc’ s spoelen echter slecht door. ) goed uitgerust. We hebben prettig verblijf gehad en veel buiten kunnen zitten. Dan valt op dat er buiten rondom veel achterstallig onderhoud is. Desondanks hebben wij er een heel prettig weekend gehad.'

'Lovely big house off set from the other houses and surrounded with forest so all balconies were private. Great kitchen with everything you need. Complimentary washing, cleaning items to save having to pack these. We had a lovely stay. Would definitely book again if the double beds could be made into singles as another friend will be with us and need twin rooms. '

'We had a great time at Boat of Garten. It's a good base for hiking. However, the photos of the cottage are somewhat misleading. The chalet is located in a holiday park, albeit on the edge (fortunately!). The room with the double bed has ample space, but the other room is very small, and the beds are narrower than usual. It was simply too small for my two teenagers. Otherwise, the cottage is neat and clean. I did miss proper pots and pans, though. The ones I did have were either too small or...

'Very friendly host, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Beams were a little low near the bed so remember to duck! Plenty on offer for continental breakfast including homemade bread. Due to covid we struggled finding places to eat however we were able to use the oven in the kitchen to heat up some food we bought from the nearby co-op. We visited the reindeer centre and it was amazing I thoroughly recommend this trip!'
