'It was just what I imagined, off grid, affordable and an end of the road adventure. Ed and Lynn are some of nicest most accommodating hosts. They helped find affordable adventures even joined us for fishing and snorkeling. Their convenient store and local food suggestions saved me tons of money! If your looking for an OFF GRID adventure this your place!!! '

'El Ben is a beautiful, well run property. Everything about our stay was fantastic from the staff to the food to the cabanas. All the food is made from scratch - from the bread for morning toast to the fresh squeezed juice. I only gave it a 3 for amenities because that’s somewhat intentional as it’s on the north quiet side of caye caulker. If you want to relax, unplug & lay low it’s perfect. If you want to sign up for outings & adventures off site, you can do that too. '

'The hotel overall is very pretty and located about 10 minutes. Golf cart ride from the center. The food was great and the ground is beautiful. One thing to consider is that even though they have a private beach, you would have to book to both guide in advance in order to be able to get to the beach. If you miss the boat ride, you might not get an opportunity to get on the next one until the following day. In my opinion, it would be nice to have the freedom to go whenever you like and come back...

'I love the location, room was absolutely comfortable and clean. Everything was fine until there is a lot of college students occupying the other rooms it was noisy and they party until 3am no respect at all. I hope they will put a sign to remind others specially at night after 10PM to be mindful with other occupants. '

Cabana dreams is perfectly located with max 5 minutes away from the busy streets. The garden is well done with beautiful palm trees. The whole place has been designed with excellent eye for detail. 'I thought the property was very beautiful. Everybody was really nice. The pools were clean. Had a nice little beach bar next door where we ate many meals and enjoyed the company of fellow travelers. I love that it was just slightly out of town enough to get us away from the noise and and pollution from all the golf course, but close enough that it was just a 5-minute enjoyable ride to get anywhere or there was action.'
