'What a lovely little stay in Bodmin. Off the beaten path, quiet, gorgeous. Only about 20 minutes from Tintagel, and some of the best clotted cream in town. My wife and I both agreed it was our favorite stay of the whole of our trip which spanned the entire island. The accommodations are ideal for a couple looking to escape into the beauty of the south-lands! Bathroom was spacious and the shower was great (even for me at 6-2”). 'Leuk huisje voor twee personen en had alles dat je nodig kon hebben. Echter we hebben een min punt die ons toch wel behoorlijk irriteerde en dat was het geluid overlast (niet bewust). De eigenaren wonen op de bovenverdieping en daar hoor je alles van, elk gesprek en beweging. Overdag geen probleem als je weg bent maar s avonds wel irritant.'

'we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall.
