'After a small issue getting into the property due to booking not getting to owner early enough everything went well. The property is great value for money clean , warm , comfertable bed and good size for a couple wantong to explore the area. Close to lots of shops and a pub. Parking by propery. Would recommend and would go again. Be aware no wifi in property which would have been a help but good phone signal. No issues with owner very friendly and helpful. '

'This was our second stay at the Coach House and John is an excellent host. The property was immaculate and the lovely scones, jam and cream on arrival were a lovely touch. 'Cottage was great, handy book with info, few treats left for us including treats for our dog. Had a great peaceful comfortable relaxing stay. Some bits id recommend would be an edit to description of closed off garden/front area, couldn’t leave dog out there off lead for toilet as wall very low he could jump it easily if he wanted to. Although instructions were given for location, those using tech would benefit more from coordinates or using the ‘what three words’ function to pin-point...

'The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The weather was cold, windy and wet when we were there and it took a while to get the cottage warm and cosy. Close to Lanhydrock and Bodmin Moor, Tintagel and Padstow not far away, so a nice place to have as a base for mid Cornwall'

'We had a great stay at The Roost in July. Warm and welcoming host. Very quiet location in a peaceful rural village. A very comfortable property, with thoughtful additions for bringing a dog to help them feel settled. Lovely aspect from the living area and cottage features aplenty. Well situated for exploring all across Cornwall. Would recommend and return.'
