We blocked them up with paper in case they were cameras? More likely just nail holes for artwork, although a bit low for that… but surely there’s a reasonable explanation. 'The room was clean and well-maintained and had all the basics. Unfortunately some internal walls are thin (my neighbour had a cough), the common areas are old and worn, and it's on a busy corner. If you're a deep sleeper, go for it.'
