Great place!

Beautiful apartment in the Heart of Bologna. The station was within walking distance to get to most places we wanted to visit. The restaurants were exceptional, accessible right from the front door.

Very rude guest. The client asked me to check in 3 hours early! I arrived earlier, but the client never arrived. He started calling me and saying that he could not find a parking lot and asked me to help him find a parking lot. Those parking lots that I offered him did not suit him, since he thought that parking was included in the price of the apartment. The client began to insult me and be rude to me.! When booking the apartment, the client did not ask one question about parking! The description of my apartment says that there is parking but paid! I would not recommend such an ill-mannered guest to anyone!

Very loud nights
Central location, close to great food in the city center. Parking is difficult. Listing states check in is at 2pm, but we weren’t let in until 5pm. The apartment would be comfortable for a single visitor or honeymooners. The streets outside the windows are extremely crowded. I’d recommend bringing earplugs as none are provided (also possible to maximize your level of intoxication, if you prefer). Navigating the street to get to to the apartment involves much crowd finessing and a strong willingness to push through people. Once inside there are several things to know: the blackout shades are essential. They are the outermost layer and come down with a string on the righthand side. The hand towels are rolled inside your bath towel. The plates are in the bottom cabinet. The neighbors are kind and helpful.

All the action
In the heart of Bologna, you won’t need to walk more than out the front door for food and wine, a block from shopping and taxis, busses, or anything else you need get. Clean and comfortable with a great shower, even if it is a little small. Lift didn’t work when we arrived but was fixed within hours.

Better than expected!
The property could not be better located; however, it is extremely loud until the restaurants/bars shut down. The photos online do not do the place justice. Better this way than the other way around!! The place is spotless, great shower, good beds and linens, cute place and very roomy for 4 people. Soaps, shampoo and Kleenex provided (nice touch and greatly appreciated). Kitchen was well equipped and essentials provided but we did not use it. Huge television as well but did not use this either, but it was a nice feature to see. Overall great and if you are tired enough, you will sleep through the noise.

Property location was excellent. The apartment was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The door lock was really difficult and we struggled to get into the apartment every day. We also struggled with some of the appliances so would have appreciated instructions. But overall I would recommend this apartment as it truly was a delightful place to stay.

Great Place in a Great Location
It was about a 20 minute walk from the train station to the apartment. We went by roman ruins and were mostly in covered porticos for which Bologna is famous. The apartment is large and comfortable and you could not find a better location. It is on a narrow street filled with cafes, butcher shops, vegetable stands and a couple fish markets. That's just in one block! Everywhere we turned there were magnificent buildings -- the Piazza Maggiore, the two leaning towers, and of course, lots of beautifully painted porticos.

Amazing Location in the Center of Bologna
This property is directly above a street teeming with restaurants. Obviously, these central locations are created with tourists in mind, but that does not take away from how enjoyable the food and atmosphere is. If you want to be in the middle of it all, with a nice 2 bedroom apartment, this is a great way to do it!

Comfortable apartment in the Heart of Bologna
Julia’s apartment had everything we needed for a week in Bologna. You cannot get closer to the heart of the city than this apartment. The best food and historic treasures are just out the door. Communication with Julia was easy and she responded quickly every time. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and the AC was very welcomed during the hot days. The only downside and really it is not a downside and wasn’t a problem for us at all- but keep in mind- it is right in the middle of the market and restaurants here are quite popular (rightly so) and stay busy until very late. The black out curtains were perfect and the sound really wasn’t bad and when it got quiet it was very quiet. A great little apartment for our trip to Bologna!

Lovely apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Located directly on a busy pedestrian street with restaurants and markets right outside the door, and only steps away from Piazza Maggiore. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. Julia responded quickly when we had a 10pm issue with a key and were panicked about getting in. It worked out fine. We would definitely recommend staying here.

My friend and I spent 4 days in Bologna and the location couldn't have been better. We were steps away from the historic downtown, dining and shopping in every direction. The accommodations were just what needed. Also, they were close to the train station and airport.

Excellent apartment. Very comfortable. Fabulous location. Some noise at night but it didnt keep us awake (and I am a very light sleeper) Would definitely stay again. Only issue for us was distance from transport but we had a lot of bags. Easy walking if you are travelling light.

This was an amazing location in the best area of the city. The apartment is just as it is shown in the pictures. We felt very fortunate to have found and stayed here. Check in was easy. Communication was great. I would stay here again if we ever return to Bologna.

Fantastic area of Bologna, apartment perfectly situated to enjoy it.
Julia was a delightful host, apartment is right there on one of the market streets known for its little outside restaurants and places to grab a drink. Loved having aircon, comfortable bed and homey feel. If you need silence to fall asleep and you fall asleep before 1 am - be aware that it is right above the action. I brought my silicone earplugs and did just fine. Btw ate twice at 051 which is right next to the apartment.

Best Apartment in Bologna!
Excellent location! The fun (and food!) starts right outside your door - literally. Easy access to Piazza Maggiore, shopping, bus stops, museums, and Regina Sophia restaurant! The apartment itself is comfy, delightfully decorated, and has everything you need. Julia, our host, was lovely and on call for anything we needed. Highly recommend this apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Julia is a gracious host, who greeted us warmly and responded quickly to our questions. It is located in the heart of Old Bologna with everything at our doorstep. It is very lively, and some might find it a bit noisy. But we were not bothered by it, as it is only people talking and no music or traffic noise which is a nice change, We recommend this place unreservedly. Thank you Julia.

The Perfect Place in Bologna
Not only is this place beautiful, it's comfortable, quiet and well stocked. Upon arrival it may seem as though it will be loud, but it's not - and any sound stops at 11:00 or midnight anyway. The location is perfect - right on the Piazza Maggiore. You can walk everywhere, get a taxi or Uber and it's 20 minutes from the train station. The owner is very sweet and very helpful. Secure building with an elevator...I will be back!

Right in the middle of things!
The apartment is right in the heart of Bologna's historic district, right off the Piazza Maggiore. You are surrounded by restaurants, bars, churches, and museums. If you don't like noise, don't stay here--although the windows were good at cancelling noise. But we loved this place, all the main attractions were within a few minutes and there was always somewhere to go and to do.

What a clean, lovely apartment located in the busiest area if Bologna. Great sites near bye.
By staying here you are in the heart of Bologna!s ‘Food Mecca.’ The apartment was spacious and very clean. The weekend lively neighborhood can be a little noisy but that did not keep us awake. Parking involves about a 25 minutes walk from the August 8 parking garage...20e per day. Come hungry, the food is amazing! If you gave a sleeping mask it would be a good idea to bring it as the rooms are not as dark as most would like.

Best place to be in Bologna
This is a very nice apartment in the middle of the central square and tourist area. All the good restaurants are just downstairs and the apartment is quiet. With two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, this place is great for a family or a couple. Julia met us downstairs the minute we arrived. We couldnt have been happier anywhere else in Bologna.

This property is located steps from Piazza Maggiore on the street with the best charcuterie in Bologna. Bright, charmingly decorated, and well kept. The air conditioner managed the super-hot weather easily. The beds were comfortable. Even though the location can be noisy outside, the double windows keep the interior quiet. The owner is responsive and kind. I highly recommend this property.

We chose this appartment because it was very much in center and we wanted to see Bologina in just 2 days. We were greeted when we arrived and found the charming apartment much to our liking. The beds were comofortable, the kitchen useful, the bathroom a good size, and a sweet sitting- entry room. An excellent price for the location.

Perfect location, perfect apartment!
My husband and I stayed 6 nights and found it to be a wonderful apartment. It is exactly as pictured, beautifully furnished and stocked with pretty much anything you could want, including Kleenex! The bed is by far the largest we’ve ever had in Europe, possibly larger than our king at home, and very comfortable. The extra bedroom was nice to have to stash our bags, but it’s definitely big enough for a couple of kids to share. The bathroom is large and very nice. Shower is a decent size and has good water pressure. Nice towels and a large sink which was handy to rinse out some clothing since there is no washing machine in the unit. The kitchen is compact but has everything you’d need to cook a simple meal. There were a few condiments left from previous guests which was nice. Dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffee maker and fridge were all handy. Pots, pans, dishes, flatware and glasses - really well stocked. But there are tons of restaurants in the area, including several literally on the door step, so we only had one meal in the apartment. The tv worked well and there were a couple English stations with the typical BBC type news. The location is perfect! It is half a block from the main piazza and is on a very lively street! The noise didn’t bother us a bit, even with the widows open, but others might find it too noisy to keep the windows open. The only thing lacking was a notebook with location of grocery stores, the check-out procedure, and what to do with garbage. That said, the owner wasn’t able to check us in because of limited access due to a bicycle race so her friend met us and might not have known to give us that information. At any rate, it didn’t deter from our enjoyment of the apartment and we would definitely stay here again!

Felt like we were on the set of a movie!
This amazing apartment met our every expectation. The pictures are an exact representation of the place. It is on a very lively little street with wine, meats and cheese at your doorstep right in the historic center of Bologna. In the mornings the little markets have a very local feel. Our 2 teenagers loved the location and were very comfortable in the bunk room. The host Julia was easy to get a hold of, and very responsive with communication. We wish we could have stayed here much longer, and would recommend this apartment to anyone. And hope to come back one day!

Quaint and beautiful
This apartment is located in the heart of the central city on a lively street where just outside of the door you can find restaurants, fruit vendors, food specialty markets and anything else you can think of. You are also close to taxis, buses and if you like walking, the train station is about 10 minutes away. The apartment is charming and the beds are comfortable. Remember that Bologna is an old city so the living quarters are small, but that is the beauty of it. You cannot go wrong staying here.
