Location of the hotel is great, and the rooms are generally OK, but that's about it regarding the positives of this hotel. The bathroom sink was very smelly and practically unusable. Upon informing the reception about it, they noted it down, but didn't seem geniunely concerned. It took them a whole day to look at it, after which the smell was less but certainly not gone. Furthermore, I had made a reservation for his hotel with flight combo for my girlfriend, as she would join me in Italy after I had finished some business stuff in a nearby town. The reservation said the pricing of the room was for an occupation of two, but I could only list her as visitor since it was a combo with flight. Upon arrival at the hotel, they informed me that I had to pay extra because I made a reservation for one person while we would both stay in the room. After a short discussion, I reluctantly accepted the extra fee she mentioned. Upon checkout, however, they suddenly charged me double of what was mentioned, claiming they had said it was a per night extra fee. This wasn't true at all, and instead of being genuinely apologetic, they argued saying they had said it. I felt they didn't even want to come to some arrangement, especially considering the experience I had with the bad smell in the bathroom. So in short, I felt the staff was very clinical, not actually caring for its visitors. Finally, I had booked this hotel for its beautiful rooms, but I got a very standard, none-artsy, room.
