'We stayed the week of July 15-22 and loved this property. We had 6 adults and our 2 granddaughters, ages 22 months and 15 months. The gigantic yard was perfect for the grandkids, and we had a pontoon and small fishing boat along, so we appreciated the dock. The house itself was very clean with an open floorplan, and stocked with coffee, dishwasher and laundry soaps, a high chair and pack n play, and many other necessities. 'Our 2 night stay here was wonderful! The property itself is beautiful, tucked away in a small neighborhood in the woods between two lakes. It was larger than expected and super cute inside. The host provides lots of amenities all throughout the house and the decor and colors really help add to the charm. The location is perfect! About 25 mins from Traverse City and close to the Leelanau Peninsula. There are lots of nice resturants nearby, ice cream, pizza, grocery stores, consignment shops,...

'We had 3 families (10 people) and 2 boats for a long weekend at the The Eagles Nest. It’s an amazing, beautiful, clean space. Close proximity to everything and great for water sports. We plan on coming back next year!'

'This place was in a great location! We were able to walk to local restaurants, it was close to the water, and only a 20 minute drive to Mesick for the Jeep Blessing event! The bed in the main floor bedroom was very comfortable. The house had plenty of room for people to stay. There was a lot of room to hang out and socialize. Having a fire pit in the backyard was nice. The owners were great about responding to messages! The house is a bit on the old side. Many plugs were only 2 prong. No towels...

'Such a beautiful location with great views across the lake, very secluded (none of the neighbors were home), very quiet! Decent kitchen. Would have been 5 stars except for some small annoyances: WiFi network was out; pillows were not great; Shower was tiny and cramped; oversized bathtub could not be filled all the way without running out of hot water. Very dated decor, but some people might find it charming. Decent kitchen.'

'We had a really great time here. The place was very clean and our pets loved the acreage to run and play. Very close to Traverse city where we took our 3 year to play for a day at Great Wolf lodge. I would highly recommend a stay if you are planning to visit the Traverse City area. I noticed there was even a place to go kayaking about 15 minutes down the road but it was too cold in March.'

'The cabin is clean and comfortable and located right next to Mitchell state park and in between lake mitchell and lake Cadillac. Pasty shop next door and burger king right in front. Place is in a peaceful spot even though businesses are very close. We would definitely stay again! Thank you'
