'We’ve been going to the mountain for 47 years. This by far was the best place to stay very easy access; air was cooled up on top my shirt mountain and the company has a beautiful pool, hot tub and sauna I would recommend this place exponentially more than any other place'

'Overall, my son and I had a great stay! He loved having a cozy little sleep spot in the kid bunks, and I loved having a fabulous view along with not having to drag linens and towels with us. 'Easy access, felt like home upon entry. Beautiful decor. Furniture was comfortable. Very close to pool access. Steam and sauna at the pool. All the other guest and residents we met were very friendly. Saw many deer that came within 10 ft of us. I will definitely return. I was able to unwind and get some R&R. My only regret is it was too short of a trip. '

'Enjoyed Memorial Day weekend in Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. The beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean. The gas fireplace is a cozy addition and the large deck was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Very quiet, relaxing time!'

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
