Ontspannend, Gezellig, Mooi 3 BR Log Cabin in Blowing Rock / Boone NC

Alpine Escape is de perfecte accommodatie voor uw familievakantie of bergvakantie. De cabine is gunstig gelegen tussen Blowing Rock en Boone, North Carolina (dichtbij Appalachian Ski Mountain), in een mooie bergachtige omgeving omringd door prachtige bomen en inboorlingen. Je voelt zich afgelegen maar tegelijkertijd dicht bij alles. Wij hopen dat u geniet van uw tijd in het Hoogland en bij onze cabine.

Kniel terug voor een open haard, ontspan in het bubbelbad, of neem een ​​berglandschap in één van de drie dekken. Deze hut heeft alles! Lokale bezienswaardigheden zijn de Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Ski Mountain (plus anderen) en Tweetsie Railroad. U zult zeker genieten van uw verblijf in het prachtige Blue Ridge Mountains.

Alpine Escape is gunstig gelegen op 321 tussen Blowing Rock en Boone. Toegang tot de Blue Ridge Parkway ligt op 3 mijl van onze cabine. De steden Blowing Rock, NC en Boone, NC liggen allemaal op korte rijafstand. De cabine beschikt over een geplaveide ingang en prive oprit voor gemakkelijke bereikbaarheid, maar 4WD wordt sterk aanbevolen in de winter. Alpine Escape is erg kindvriendelijk, en we houden van welgemeende honden welkom! Wij hopen dat u van harte welkom bent in deze prachtige weg!

Great house for a friend’s weekend! Easy access to Tweetsie, Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the large dining table. I also was glad to see the ice melt on the porch as we had ice and snow while we were there. All of us were talking about how we’d gladly stay here again. Thanks!

The house is nice and very comfortable. It would have been nice if the front porch had useable furniture, the benches are pretty but not for sitting. The back porch stayed wet everyday and we love being 'porch sitters '. The kitchen could use lots more coffee cups.

Beautiful home and helpful owner!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home is so spacious and well-taken care of. The owner was so responsive and kind. She was helpful through the entire process. The rooms had plenty of space for sleeping. We had 7 adults and 3 children, and would’ve had space for more if needed. Highly recommend!

Wonderfull large cabin. Fantastic setting and location! Beautiful home and very clean. Plenty of parking. Water pressure and temperature could use adjusting with a few updated touches in the kitchen. Great place for our large family holiday weekend.

A Thanksgiving Blessing

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend at Alpine Cottage tremendously! Prior to our stay, the owners were great in communicating about possible road issues due to Hurricane Helene. We were very thankful for all of the updates, and to know that our travel should not be impeded by the time our arrival date arose. The kitchen was well stocked which was crucial for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. We appreciated the ample sleeping areas, and cozy living room for just lounging around. The views were spectacular and the location was ideal for local shopping and dining (although we did not eat out during our stay). We would definelty consider this location again.

The cabin was in perfect location for easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock. Maureen was available via text when we needed assistance with locating their trash bins. We used the kitchen, Grill, and fire pit. Very happy with our experience.

Unsatisfied housekeeping

We stayed at this listing and we were very disappointed. It could have been a nice cabin to stay in, but it was not clean. It was listed that no pets were allowed to stay. When we arrived we toured through the house. My grandson was going to sleep on the trundle bed. When we pulled it out we discovered there was dog poop on the bed. We continued through the house and discovered dog hairs throughout the entire house (in different rooms and the bathrooms). We notified the host and sent her pictures. She sent someone to clean the trundle bed and clean the floors while we were out eating dinner. Upon returning, the housekeeper had changed the linens and comforter on the trundle bed but all the floors still had dog hair. When we went to bed that night we found dog hair in all the beds we were using; making us question if the sheets had even been washed. We ended up having to wash all the sheets on all the beds ourselves. You could also tell that none of the bathroom rugs had been vacuumed or cleaned, and that there were also dog hairs on the couches. My daughter has allergies and she had severe reactions when sitting on the sofas. We had rented this cabin knowing that pets were not allowed. Overall we felt the place was very unclean and it made it difficult to feel comfortable in the house.

Great family vacation.

Stayed with our three kids, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren (infant through four years old). Cabin was beautiful and was clean, well maintained, and well suited for our family. Has gates for the stairs, and books and toys for the grandchildren. Based on the listing was expecting a crib, but it has a pack-and-play instead. Grandchildren enjoyed bath in Papa and Nana's jetted tub each night. Apart from the decks, there is not any outdoor play space at the cabin itself, but there is a great playground in downtown Blowing Rock, and a smaller and little used playground at Rocky Knob Bike Park, and plenty of activities around. Enjoyed the pump track at the bike park, Tweetsie Railroad, and Doc's Rock's Gem mining. Created great memories.
