A quiet and beautiful country cottage

My spouse and I spent an unforgettable week here. We needed to book seven nights for our ski trip to Mt. Buller, and this place could accommodate our dates. After checking in, we discovered it was truly a hidden paradise. The cottage was fully equipped, clean, and tidy, and it was convenient for driving to both the ski resort and Mansfield.

Rob and Helen are amazing hosts - friendly and focused on their visitors’ enjoyment. The property is absolutely lovely, and waking up to the two miniature horses - Elsa and Cookie - was an absolute delight!

comfort and tranquility

Elm Cabin is a delight. Warm, well equipped, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated, the cabin is a most pleasant place to unwind. The property has a welcoming party of well-groomed and courteous dogs, and whimsical miniature horses and crooning heifers (feeding time is hilarious). Bob, the proprietor, is very responsive and a wonderful host. This quiet and beautifully maintained property is a wonderful pick me up.

Excellent Property

Rob and Helen's property was a beautiful place to get away. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed yard and playing with their two dogs. We enjoyed the serenity and sunset views.

Labor day weekend away

A lovely, peaceful place to stay

I had a really lovely peaceful stay at this small cabin with my puppy. All the amenities were provided including butter, jam, vegemite etc and tea / coffee / sugar.

Lovely cottage

We stayed in the Elm Cottage and it was fantastic. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor fireplace was the highlight. The cabin was easy to find and Robert was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend staying here.

Idyllic. Relaxing break.

Great place for a break with opportunity to mingle with other guests or keep to yourself. The dam was fun to swim in. We enjoyed the cows and the family dogs. Dog friendly accommodation. Our cottage had a fence around it, so our dog was safe. Fantastic, shady tree in the front yard to keep cool under. Close to lots of day trips such as Sheepyard Flat and Craig’s Hut. Thank you for allowing us to share your property Rob.

Clean, cozy, charming stay with lovely grounds and real "Australiana" feel

As a large group we probably needed a few more pots and pans to cater for the large meals however the properties were clean, plenty of bedding and it is such a beautiful, charming, authentic place to stay. We were a family reunion group with kids of different ages, we skied, rode horses, cooked, walked etc. It was just lovely and great to have the dogs too. Thank you so much
