Sehr schönes und sauberes Apartment in super Lage
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem das herzliche Willkommen von Alain war prima. Das Apartment ist in einer sehr schönen Gegend von Bordeaux und ein guter Ausgangspunkt, die Stadt zu entdecken.

Petit appartement parfait en tout point, situation on ne peut plus urbaine bénéficiant d'un calme digne de la campagne. Ancien relais postal, la cour aux murs de tuffeau est lumineuse, tout comme l'accueil qui nous a été réservé. Ce fût une escapade Bordelaise riche en découvertes, architecturales notamment. Un gran merci!

Au cœur du quartier St Pierre, à une minute de la Place Camille Julian, à deux minutes des places St Pierre et du Parlement et de leurs terrasses, proche de tout ce qui est à voir dans le Vieux Bordeaux, à pieds, en vélo, en tram, l’emplacement est prémium ! Accueil courtois et fort sympathique (merci pour les cannelés !), au calme sur cour d’un vieil hôtel XVII°, de quoi garer nos vélos en toute sécurité sur place et notre véhicule en parking souterrain à 50 mètres. Quarante-huit heures à Bordeaux très agréables à partir de ce camp de base idéal !

Wonderful introduction to Bordeaux! Lively squares, restaurants, shopping and night life just steps away from this apartment on a quiet side street. Alain was a gracious host, there to greet us, share information about the city and show us all the amenities of this very comfortable apartment. Alain went above and beyond on the day we left! We needed to take a bus and then the tram to get to the airport. He could see we were a little confused and so he took us (and our luggage) first to the bus stop, on the bus (!) and then to the tram stop - so kind! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Bordeaux. Merci bien, Alain!

Cute apartment in a great location
My husband and I recently spent 2 nights in this apartment. It is on a ground floor (was so glad did not have to lug my big bag up the stairs) but very quiet. It is in a building from I think 18th century. The apartment itself is very modern and clean. It is big enough for a couple. It is very well located from all the main attractions and close to tram lines. We walked everywhere other than Cite de Vin. Also close to shopping areas and many restaurants. Alain was a very good host. He replied to my emails very promptly and was there to welcome us when we arrived. Overall we had a very good time and would stay there again if we returned to Bordeaux.

Accueil agréable du propriétaire. L’appartement est fonctionnel, très propre, joliment décoré, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour comme chez soi. Bonne literie. A noter que la chambre n’a pas de fenêtre, mais une vitre qui donne sur la pièce de vie. Très bien situé, dans une belle bâtisse, cour intérieure, au calme, dans une petite rue typique du quartier historique St-Pierre, près de la jolie place Camille Jullian, avec ses terrasses de café (parking public en sous sol). Proche superette, restaurants, bars, pas loin de l’arrêt de la ligne de tram A Ste-Catherine. Je recommande ce charmant appartement.

Charming apartment within foot steps from everything!
Our host met us at the apartment and showed us around. He explained how everything worked and even recommended a couple restaurants near by. The apartment had all the amenities and was nice and quiet. We were able to walk to most of our destinations. We had the best boulangerie right by the apartment and two of our favorite restaurants were also within blocks. Would highly recommend this place and the price was very reasonable!

FANTASTIC LOCATION - SUPERB APARTMENT
Had a wonderful stay in Bordeaux, the apartment is located in a busy area, meaning you have shops, restaurants, bars on your doorstep, however, it is also so lovely and quiet :) Apartment is very clean and modern and has all amenities needed. Alain has been a superb host, so helpful and informative without being instrusive. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again :)))

Excellent location - right in centre of old town.
Ideal as a base. Clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. There is only one shuttered window in the living/kitchen which we did not feel comfortable leaving open at night and it did feel quite warm during the night. It is quite a dark flat due to this so would not want to sit in for any length of time. We were out all day then all evening so for us it was fine Alain was very pleasant and helpful. Our other disappointment was we had to pay a 300 Euro security deposit which was not mentioned anywhere before we went

Convenient walk to attractions in the central old part of town. Parking available ~ 200 metre away
Alain was a great host from the point he met us with instructions & suggestions for our stay. although most of what we desired to see and explore was within fairly easy walking distance, I will highly recommend the city pass especially for 48 to 72 hours. Cost is more than covered by admission to museums, transportation on the tram or buses, and the available walking or riding tour that is included. The cost of visiting the City du Vin is the price of one third of the cost of the entire 3 day pass, and the open top bus tourbrought it above 50%. Add in Museum admissions and the transportation on the Tram and we definitely got our money's worth. Great dining options within steps to a maximum of 10 minutes walk, probably 100 + choices All amenities in the apartment were comfortable and met our needs. we especially appreciated it being on the 1st floor after a previous stay on the fourth floor at a prior stop

Great first impression which remained throughout our stay. The owner was there to meet us and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment with information about everything we needed to know. Maps and information were provided which were very helpful. Comfortable bed and settee. The apartment had everything we required. The apartment is so central, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. The atmosphere in the area had a great “buzz” to it. Put us in a holiday mood. Small supermarkets and post office within 5 minutes walking area. Fresh croissants and bread from baker round the corner. Apartment is up a very quiet street, no traffic, no noisy neighbours. Even before we arrived the owner was great emailing us information especially directions to apartment. He was great. Warning if you’re arriving by train or using the tram. Machines do not take uk credit cards. Don’t know about debit cards. You will need euro coins. €1.60 a ticket. A ticket for 10 journeys for 1 person can be obtained for €12.90. Machines at all stops but not at the one nearest the apartment Bourse. Wonderful stay, we love Bordeaux. St Emilion worth a half day visit cheap tickets by train about 15 euros per person. Very cobbly and hilly, not for people with walking difficulties. We will be back for further exploration to stay in this apartment. Thanks for a great stay. Pat & Alan

My girlfriend and I haf a great stay here. It was inside a courtyard on the first level, so no stairs to climb with suitcases. Alain was there to meet us, even though we were later than expected. It was easy to stay in touch with him, by text, throughout our stay. He addressed all our questions/concerns and arranged our taxi back to the train station. He even sent me a link of things to see and do after I booked this apartment. The sofa bed was very comfortable and easy to open and close. The location was superb. Lots of restaurants and stores close by. You will enjoy your stay here, it is all good!

Fantastic location!
We loved our stay in Bordeaux. It is in the heart of the city and everything Bordeaux has to offer is minutes away. We did find the apartment a little small but got used to it. One recommendation we have is to add some hooks in the bedroom and maybe by the door to hang your coat etc. Loved the boulangerie called La Fabrique Pain et Bricoles and went there almost every day. Don't miss going there! Also found a great wine shop called Cousin et Compagnie. There are so many wine shops in Bordeaux so it is hard to decide which one to go to. They were very helpful and not overpriced.

Lovely apartment in a great location.
We spent 4 days in Alain's comfortable apartment. It is located in an historic building in the center of the old city, about 100 feet away from one of the best boulangeries in Bordeaux and 150 feet away from Deruelle fromagerie, which probably is the city's best. Several outstanding restaurants (including upscale and wonderful Le Davoli) are very close at hand, and all of Bordeaux's historic city is within easy walking distance. Alain is a cooperative and sympathetic proprietor. I can't imagine a more satisfactory place to stay in Bordeaux.

Quiet,secure apartment in wonderful location
This was a beautifully appointed apartment located in a secure building in the historical part of Bordeaux. Alain was there to meet us and was a very friendly and helpful host. We understood each other very well despite our non existent French and his limited English. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. A Nice Apartment in a Terrific Location
We had a wonderful time in Bordeaux last week, our first visit to the city. This apartment is on a very quiet street, and yet is just steps away from a hub of activity--shops, restaurants and culture. Everything is as advertised and made for a wonderful base for our trip. Driving in Bordeaux is very challenging, and Alain even had to "rescue" us as we got lost trying to make our way to his apartment. If you do not need a car in Bordeaux, don't take one! The tram is wonderful and goes everywhere. If you do need a car, there is a parking garage a block from the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again if we were in the city. The only improvement I can imagine would be a clothes dryer, or a combination washer/dryer as we've had in other French apartments. It took a very long time for clothing to dry on the rack that was provided. That's a very small negative though, among many positives. A great apartment and a very accommodating and kind landlord!

Logement de très bon confort, au calme en plein cœur de la vieille ville. Quartier vivant et animé.
Moi-même et ma fille avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous y avons été très bien accueillies et la voiture peut rester au parking toute la semaine, car le logement est très bien situé. Nous avons pu profiter de la ville à pieds afin de mieux la découvrir, c'était notre objectif. Les fans de culture et de shopping seront enchantés. N'hésitez pas à choisir ce logement idéal pour 2 personnes pour être très à l'aise. Le logement est parfaitement bien conçu et équipé. Merci à MR Priol pour sa gentillesse. Sans aucun nul doute nous reviendrons lors d'un prochain séjour.

Top zentral und trotzdem ruhig
Diese kleine aber feine Wohnung liegt zentral in der Altstadt in einem Innenhof. Nachts ist es super ruhig und morgens ist man gleich mitten im Geschehen. Bäckerei, Cafés, Restaurants.... alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sauber, hat ein sehr schönes und modernes Bad und ein gutes Bett. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles topp.
