'Hele kleine cottage, wel doordacht ingericht. Badkamer wel voldoende groot en praktisch. Zeer klein keukentje, met enkele kleine kookpotten, niet om een volledige menu te bereiden...Alles was zeer net, zeker een aanrader.'

'Alvorens de reis vanaf Akureyri richting Borgarnes aan te vangen, nam ik voor de goede orde contact op om door te geven dat ik na de uiterlijke inchecktijd van 19:00 uur zou aankomen. De zeer behulpzame dame, deelde mede dat mijn komst rond 21:00 géén enkel probleem was. Een en ander bleek na aankomst zonder enige overdrijving, alles klopte, de kamer met kitchenette, uitstekende sanitaire voorzieningen. Vlakbij ligt Borgarnes, en beukt de Atlantische Oceaan op het basalt wat hier aangelegd is...

'Het was veel groter dan verwacht, misschien een upgrade? Het uitzicht was zeer mooi en de omgeving erg rustig. De weg naartoe was niet in de beste staat maar was te doen met een eigen auto.'

'Wonderful location just 45 minutes from Reykjavic. It is certainly out in the countryside, but it was nice and quiet. 20 mins to a grocery store and the kitchen was equipped enough for our breakfasts we made at home before heading out for the day. Very clean, and the hot tub was great. No issues whatsoever. '

'This house and the area are beautiful. We stayed here for 3 nights and two evenings we saw the northern lights from the hot tub. The house is very luxurious and everything is there (also a lot of towels). Top! The Snæfellsjökull National Park is not far and is beautiful to visit. The Golden Circle is also easy to do from here. We really enjoyed everything. The communication with the owner of the house went perfectly and everything was clearly explained. We definitely recommend this house.'

'Great stay! The house was conveniently close to Borgarnes in a beautiful location and had everything we needed. What made it especially unique was that it included two separate houses, which worked perfectly for our group. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck and hot tub at the main house — a perfect setup for relaxing and hanging out. 'Das kleine Cottage hatte für uns alles, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Der private Hot Tub vor der Tür war wunderbar für den Abend. Wir waren vor allem auf der Halbinsel Snaefellsnes unterwegs, aber haben auch das Perlan-Museum in Reykjavik besucht.'

'The very friendly owners of this house offer you one of the nicest places to stay in Iceland. The views are amazing in all directions! You really feel away from the busy world. The interior is new, clean and modern and very cozy. It's weird, but it looks and feels bigger on the inside than the outside might tell you from the pictures. 'We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here'
