Spahotels in Borovets

'Room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. Food was brilliant for buffet breakfast and dinner. Lunch in lobby bar was great. Reasonable prices. Some items cheaper here than in other bars. Pool was great, very busy at peak times. Had a view of the resort. Comfortable beds, plenty of space. Small fridge. Hooks and shelf above radiator to dry ski gear. Loved it here! '

' We stayed in a nice, spacious and clean apartment. Our stay was almost flawless, untill we asked if a late check out was possible. The reason we asked for a late check out was to leave our luggage in the room so we can get two 1,5 hour massages in the hotel spa. Same reason I gave the receptionist by the way. Mind you that one 1,5 hour massage is more then the nightly rate of the room. The answer was that it's possible for a fee of €10,- an hour. Not that client friendly when I'm still...

'A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced.'

'5 stars all around. Nick our property host was fantastic. The castle exceeded our expectations on size and value for money. Not to mention the jacuzzi that was almost as tall as me 🙄😅. The property was cleaned throughout, perfect temperatures and the company provided with plenty of information for surrounding areas and transportation as we had no car. Would 100% recommend. Thank you to all the team!!! '

'I have to say it was an excellent stay. Whilst it isn’t the Ritz, so don’t expect that, it was very solid and met the needs of a good base to access the slopes. Warm, big rooms, comfortable beds and adequate food. Remember, you get what you pay for - I’d stay here again. '

'As others mention, the property itself could do with some renovation which means it doesn't feel perfectly clean and modern. However, the staff are very friendly and the stay was half-board with an excellent variety of food options (including most Bulgarian classics based on our internet searches) and a I think something for everyone.
