'Have stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonald’s.'

'Truthfully it was excellent value for money, both checkin and room service staff were greet. I ended up booking an extra night and used it as a base for travel as close to motorway with no noise. Well done yo the staff once again. '

'Informal, buzzy hotel with lovely, friendly and efficient staff. Had an issue with our room and quickly moved. We booked basic twin but would go for the club in future as more roomy and modernised. Dog friendly hotel, dogs I think are booked into the ground floor rooms.
Menus in bar and restaurant which are right next door to each other are good for allergies. I’m GF but had no problem. Pool is small and busy but all one depth and not too deep. Well maintained and you can’t get in without...

'Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. '

'Lovely views and a comfortable stay. Room was very big and the shower was excellent. The fridge wasn’t working but was replaced straight away. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant that had beautiful views of the harbour. Great location for exploring The Island. Staff very helpful.Swimming pool was great too although a bit on the warm side. However a good size. Bar area was really good too. '

Our room was on the backside, you have to pass a trash area and an ugly fence to get there, feels like you are put behind in a shed somewhere. The stairs up to the room were dirty and worn out. "Het hotel mag echt wel wat onderhoud en liefde hebben. De opzet was duidelijk met grandeur, maar is inmiddels wat aan het verlopen. Likje verf zo links en rechts, zwembad schoonmaken, de verwarming in de badkamer kon niet uit terwijl het buiten 30+ was.... en er is geen airco. "

"Heel erg fijn hotel. Ligging geweldig, parkeren heel goedkoop in garage. Veel winkels en op loopafstand van de Historic Dockyards. Goede restaurants om de hoek.
Twee kleine minpuntjes: ondanks een heerlijke douche, is die wel toe aan een nieuwe kitrand en de bedden zijn aan de smalle kant (maar slapen lekker)."
"Julia was een echte gastvrouw zoals je altijd zou willen. De schoonmaak service verraste ons, zo goed. Heerlijke huiskamerachtige sfeer en een perfecte loft. Ronald achter de bar was ook correct en keurig. Echt helemaal top hier!"
"Het hotel zag er leuk en modern uit en het publiek was gemêleerd qua leeftijd e.d., dus is fijn voor iedereen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was prima, niet uitzonderlijk, maar gewoon goed. Er was altijd plek om lekker te zitten. De bedden vonden we wat aan de zachte kant en het was redelijk warm in de kamer. Een raam openen gaf dan wel weer wat verkeersgeluiden, maar al met al prima voor een weekendje weg om als uitvalsbasis te fungeren om in de omgeving dingen te gaan bekijken. Een kwartier lopen naar het treinstation, maar neem vooral een Bolt taxi: amper duurder en veel sneller!!"
