Breng de nacht, het weekend of de week door in het land. U zult versteld staan van het comfort van deze blokhut in High Hill. Gelegen binnen 45 minuten van de Saint Louis Metropolitan Area en 20 minuten van de oude wereld van Hermann, Missouri. Ga op de veranda aan de voorkant zitten of op de afgeschermde veranda aan de achterkant en bekijk de dieren in het wild. Breng tijd door met wandelen, vissen in de 3 vijvers of het voeren van de flauwvallen van geiten en paarden. Great property

This property was a great extended weekend getaway. Exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet, remote but easily accessible, and had many opportunities to enjoy the variety of animals and walking trails in the woods. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed talking with them and learning a little about the area. We used the cabin as a base for various sections of the Katy Trail. This allowed us to have access to several different trailheads within about a half hour drive. Would highly recommend this place!

This was our family's third stay at the cabin in the past 5 or so years. It has become a family tradition. Many great memories have been made together here. Great hosts too. Looking forward to a fourth visit in the future!

Perfect Cabin Retreat

To start, communication with the owners was so easy and they were super quick to respond. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas, clean, and cozy! We were greeted with a lovely note and wine for our anniversary. Had everything we needed to stay and cook for ourselves all weekend. Cannot wait to book our next stay!

This home has it all. I love a small cabin in the woods and this one didn't disappoint. An outdoor burn pit, a charcoal grill and sweet horses. The home itself was wonderful! The host even put together a s'mores basket.

Lovely and Peaceful

The cabin is absolutely lovely. The setting is so peaceful and quiet. It was so enjoyable to sit on the front porch in the comfy rocking chairs and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Visiting with the friendly horses is an added bonus! The cabin is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Will definitely be returning!

Lovely country decorated log house with two porches and one is enclosed. A lot of small surprise amenities that weren't expected. We felt right at "home". Two ponds for fishing, horses and farm animals you can feed, walking trails, outdoor bbq and fire ring. When the owner happen to see us outside or on the road, he checked to make sure everything was good or he waved as he passed. Felt very secure that if we had a problem, it would be handled promptly.

Peace & quiet abound here. Lots of birds. Saw hummingbirds at the flowerpot in front of cabin. A little dust from traffic on the dirt road buy not obnoxious. Wonderful front porch for relaxing in the evening or coffee in the morning in rocking chairs. Fire pit and screened porch in back, bbq grill and picnic table under a roof was a nice touch. Girls Getaway

We had a great time. The cabin was at a good location just off of the highway. If you want to go to Herman, you may want to use the paved road. Hanging out with the horses and outside was nice. We went to Herman and Jonesburg for a day trip and hung out at the cabin playing games till late.
