  • Geniet van een 125+ jaar oud landhuis met grote tuin en prachtige schaduwbomen gelegen op een 100 hectare grote boerderij in de glooiende heuvels van SE Missouri. Het huis is zeer schoon en ruim met 3 grote slaapkamers, comfortabele bedden, mooie hardhouten vloeren en een grote woonkamer. We hebben overal handgemaakte quilts en antieke meubels. De keuken is volledig ingericht. Ontspan op onze 40 'veranda met schommel, bij de vuurplaats of in een hangmat. Een perfecte plek voor u om op te laden van stress en drukke schema's!

    Zwerven door de 100 hectare grote boerderij met een pittoreske rode schuur in de buurt van het huis. Ontspan op de schommelbank van onze 40-voet lange veranda. Geniet van geweldige zonsondergangen vanaf de veranda, opwarming door de stenen vuurplaats (voorzien van brandhout), sterrenkijken onder de geweldige nachtelijke hemel of wandelend over het natuurpad rond de boerderij en het bos. U zult genieten van de 1,5 km lange natuurwandeling langs velden, wilde bessen en bossen waar u herten, wilde kalkoenen, eekhoorns, vogels, adelaars en andere dieren in het wild kunt zien.

    Ontspan in de hangmat, speel tuinspellen (Tassen / Corn Hole, Wasmachines, Kan Jam Frisbee, enz.) Onder de schaduwbomen of kaarten / spelletjes in de boerderij.

    Wij zijn gelegen op slechts 10 minuten van verschillende kleine pittoreske stadjes (Altenburg en Frohna) met familiebedrijven, een microbrouwerij en een wijnmakerij. Geniet van de lokale ambachtelijke bieren, wijn, lekker eten en geweldige gastvrijheid! Bekijk de zeer interessante Duitse erfgoedmusea (Lutheran Heritage Centre and Museum en Saxon Lutheran Memorial)! Veel weekenden zijn gevuld met lokale festivals en picknicks.

    We zijn ook slechts 25 minuten verwijderd van het National Veteran's Memorial in Perryville, MO. Dit is een exacte, volledige replica (inclusief de soldatennamen) van de Vietnam-muur in Washington D. C. Deze ontzagwekkende full-scale muur biedt veteranen, burgers en mensen die momenteel dienen, een plek om te reflecteren op de offers van alle dienstmannen en -vrouwen in de rustige, vredige omgeving die Perryville biedt - zonder kosten. Mensen uit de hele VS bezoeken deze herdenkingssite zodat ze niet naar de zeer drukke site van Washington D.C hoeven te reizen.

    We willen graag dat je bij ons blijft en blijvende familieherinneringen opbouwt in een vredige landelijke omgeving! Het is een perfecte plek voor uw familievakantie, het weekend van het paar of een rustige manier van doen! Je zult niet teleurgesteld zijn!

    Earl & Diane Weber en Gene & Emily Weber bezitten en onderhouden de boerderij die al meer dan 125 jaar in de Weber-familie zit. De Weber-familie is erg gezegend sinds 1892 toen onze grootvader vanuit Duitsland naar Amerika kwam. We zullen 10% van onze jaarlijkse inkomsten aan missies geven. Dit jaar hebben we ervoor gekozen om het Trinity Hope Haitian Feeding Program te ondersteunen. Deze organisatie biedt maaltijden en hoop voor Haïti-kinderen die in het armste land van het westelijk halfrond wonen.

    Earl & Diane zijn veteranen en we willen graag een gratis maaltijd en drankje bij een lokaal eetcafe aanbieden aan alle veteranenfamilies die op onze boerderij verblijven. Dank u voor uw service!

Peaceful Stay

Great place for a weekend getaway to get away from all the noise. House is very clean, and has everything you'd need along with a lot of interesting history behind it. We loved relaxing on the property enjoying the peacefulness of being on a farm. Their dog Aussie was a joy to be around. Wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Reunion

The Weber Farm and Family are amazing. We were in area for a family reunion. We really wanted to stay and relax at the farmhouse with Aussie( the Weber family dog). Definitely want to return. It was very clean and inviting. Communication was great.

Very clean old farmhouse, with plenty of room. Peaceful setting less than 10 minutes off Interstate 55. Did not have time to walk on nature trail on property.

Like staying with family

We enjoyed our second visit to the Weber farm just as much as the first! The farmhouse is clean and cozy with all we could need. The beds are comfortable and shower is hot. Our favorite parts are the serenity of the location, catching fireflies at night, playing with Aussie the dog, and having the opportunity to visit with Earl and Diane. They are respectful of your privacy but always welcoming if you want to shoot the breeze with them. They let the kids get the eggs from the chicken coop, pick mulberries and black berries, and showed them around the farm. We look forward to another stay in the future!

Quiet and secluded

We rented the farm in order to have some seclusion in the middle of the path of totality for the eclipse. It was absolutely perfect. We had great communication before and after with jean. They were incredibly hospitable. The house itself is beautiful and. Correct. They make so many accommodations for families including a massive outdoor chest full of every game you could ever want to play as well as a closet inside full of puzzles and games during the evenings or inclement weather. I could not rate this property any highly enough

Beautiful farm

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it! Beautiful property, quiet and a gorgeous sunset! We spent time at the fire pit, which the owners Earl and Diane so graciously started for us. They were super nice people, even offered s’mores to us! They lived across the gravel road, along with their sweet dog who hung out with us. They were there for any needs but absolutely not jntrusjve. The house was homey and had plenty of beds! Just bring what you need, it’s a little far out to make a quick run to the store. It is indeed gods country. Perfect escape for a girls night! Thank you Weber’s for a very memorable stay!

Step Back In Time with All the Modern Conveniences

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Farm. The location is ideal for getting away from the sounds of the city, but close enough to small communities to find whatever you need. The farm home is neat, clean, and well-equipped. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and cooked a full meal on Thursday, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the period furniture and family pictures with accompanying notes explaining who the persons were. Same with the several farm implements in the barn, and the walking trail around the property, all fitting for the period. A couple other highlights include star-watching at night, and watching the chickens in the lot. The best part of the stay was the interaction with the owners; they were responsive to all our requests and needs. They even built a fire in the firepit so all we had to do was walk down and enjoy ourselves. They provided excellent information on local shopping and dining options, wineries, hiking, and other sight-seeing opportunities. If you want to get away to a quiet and welcoming home with all the modern conveniences, this would be a top choice.

Home Away From Home With a Twist

We absolutely loved our time at the Weber Farm! We had all the comforts of home plus the added adventure of being on a peaceful farm! Be prepared to put some dirt on your car, as you adventure out to the farm on gravel roads. Once you are there, you will be awed at the beauty of this farm with the 125 year old farmhouse that has been in the Weber family for generations! The home itself is so well kept and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay (just make sure you have enough clothes as there is no washer/dryer). We slept so well, enjoyed cooking meals 'at home', feeding the chickens, collecting the eggs, exploring the farm, loving on the Australian Shepherd, Aussie, and hanging out with Earl and Diane. They are such wonderful people! Our kids were so sad to leave! When we didn't dine in, we enjoyed eating at the local Mexican restaurant, as well as the Saxony Hills Brewery. We have fond memories of catching fireflies and star gazing, as well as mulberry picking. This will be a place we need to return to in the future!

Country Roads... Take me Home

Country roads, lightning bugs, incredible sunsets, the smell of honeysuckle everywhere. All these things and more can be found at the Weber Farm. It was like stepping back in time to my childhood and I couldn't have been more pleased with the property, the owners and the whole experience. The Webers have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. From the impeccably clean house full of history to the thoughtful dining/entertainment recommendations to the homemade banana bread, there is nothing I would change. We had a great stay, reconnecting with nature and family. My husband and daughter truly embraced country living for a few days and I couldn't be happier! For your next trip, take the road less traveled. 😊

A Wonderful step back in history.

This was a great walk down memory lane for my husband and I. We were both raised on a farms & ranches in Texas. This family has gone above and beyond restoring their family home and farming antiques. Their attention to detail was incredible, making our stay beyond fabulous. The chicken house and yard flowers were just icing on the cake. Of course we can't forget Aussie the Farm guard dog. Highly recommended from this crew.

Countryside Relaxation

Paradise in Farm Style

The Weber Farm is a true gem, from the property itself to the wonderful individuals who own it and share it with others. The house itself is very well-kept and full of old charm with meticulous attention to detail throughout. The property is beautiful and quiet; you will enjoy listening to owls hooting at night and cows mooing during the morning. The barn cats frolicking in the early morning rays are best observed with a cup of coffee and a slice of delicious homemade chocolate chip banana bread. If I am ever in the area again, I will absolutely stay here again. 5 stars and a very high recommendation from me to all. Rest assured, the 40 minute drive from Cape Girardeau is totally worth it!

Can't wait to go back

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this rental. It was clean, comfy, peaceful and the homemade zucchini chocolate bread / welcome plate was a wonderful touch. The owners were uber friendly. Our favorite part was the firepit.... and the morning walk on the trail was divine! Highly recommend this rental!!

Peaceful Nights

We did not spend much time at the house during the day but we really enjoyed the peaceful nights. The stars were so bright. It was lovely to sit on the porch and feel the cool breeze and smell the hint of wood smoke in the air. It was just what we needed.

Delightful trip into the past.

The home was an old family home built by a few generations back. I loved the effort to furnish it with antiques of the appropriate era. Such a lovely homey feeling.
