Located on Lake Muskoka, Eilean Gowan Island is a 5 minute boat ride from Pride Marina. If you are looking to spend some time checking out the local shops, the town of Bracebridge is a quick 5-minute drive from the marina! Excellent location for swimming, fishing and water sports! The centre of Eilean Gowan island is a nature reserve and is for the public to use. Access to the trail is from a dock at Johnston Public Park located on the south side of the island. A 10 minute boat ride takes you to the dock at Kirrie Glen for a day of golf, or boat to Port Carling for lunch and access through the locks into Lakes Rosseau and Joe for sight seeing and all day boating fun!

PROPERTY
SUNSET ISLAND - Avoid the mosquitos on this breezy island property. The main cottage sits on level land and there is a grassy area with badminton net set up for family fun. A bbq and outdoor dining table that seats 4 (plus extra chairs and bench seating), sits on the back deck. Enjoy reading a good book on one of the many Muskoka chairs on the deck facing the lake. Make your way down gradual steps to the lake where you will find multiple Muskoka chairs surrounding a firepit. There is a shallow, sandy walk in for the kids and grandparents and 4 feet off the dock for those that prefer to get straight into the water. This property is 3 cottages down from the access to a 5 km public hiking trail on the island!
