Such a cute house tucked away so not directly on the main stretch so it was perfect with kids. Plenty of space in the carport area and yard which was also perfect with kiddos. The home was stocked with plenty of swimming & bathing towels, kayaks & life jackets for adventuring on a beautiful lake day AND a whole coffee station complete with kcups. Our hosts missed no details and our experience with them was so pleasant & friendly. Would absolutely love to rent this property again and make more memories on a lake that holds, for me, a whole childhood full of them!

The property was very well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed card games, and watched Netflix movies. It really felt like home. The location was very close to the finger lakes area with easy access to the Watkins Glen and Letchworth state parks. The host provided directions and landmarks, and left the lights on which made it easy to locate the place in the dark. The covered parking was very helpful as it rained through most of our stay.

This home and property is a great place to unwind. The home was clean, full of extra linens, blankets, pillows, all the necessities in the kitchen, and games. Just steps away from the lake, my family utilized the kayaks multiple times and we caught so many different types of fish. There was firewood near the firepit by the dock, which was generous. The hosts made themselves available and were easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great cottage to stay at on Lamoka Lake!

This was a large homey well-furnished house to stay at and enjoy Lamoka Lake and the surrounding area. The friendly owners live in the cottage on the property, but we rarely saw them. We had the dock and large patio at lakeside to ourselves and enjoyed fishing and visiting with our relatives. It was a nice and relaxing week, and we would stay here again.

Fishing Trip

Our stay on Lamoka Lake was outstanding. We fished off a pontoon as well as the owners docks and had a great time catching a lot of large/small mouth bass. The docks are right across the street in a quiet cove. The owners were friendly, answered all our questions quickly, provided a great tour of the area and lake, and the house was clean and comfortable. This was a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful week fishing, kyaking, campfires with the kids, and hiking at Watkins Glen State Park. We caught a lot of fish, and we really enjoyed our vacation! We will be going back for sure. Great Swimming!

We loved our stay here! I want to specifically address the beautiful water for swimming! The entry is easy (via steps or jumping off the dock) and it’s clear and a perfect temp! The home is clean and cozy and has everything we needed. Rosalynn is friendly and communicated well. Our family was not at all bothered by making an incredibly short walk across the street to the waterfront. The AC units were very welcomed, as we had a hot week! This cottage has everything you need for a great stay at the lake!

Very pleased

We were very pleased with our rental of this property. Photos are 100% accurate. When we arrived, the house was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN; very impressed with that! It was very well-equipped with anything one could need. Our favorite place there was the dock area. The owners have a bench at the end of the dock which was a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the beauty of Lamoka Lake. Thank you for a great rental experience!

Family friendly Lake House

The property was located directly across a very quiet street from the Lamoka Lake. The property owners provided lots of board games, a Mrs PacMan console, lots of DVD options, kids toys that seemed curated for our children’s ages, and even lent us bikes and helmets for the preschoolers to go up and down the driveway and quiet street. The three seating areas outside were perfect for if you wanted to hang out after the kids go to sleep (fire pit outside the kitchen door), if you wanted to enjoy a light drizzle hangout outside (under the carport), or if you wanted to enjoy the sunset (right near the docks across the street).

Quick Trip to NYS Wine Country

We would definitely stay here again. We made a quick trip to the Finger Lakes region for harvest festival weekend at one of the wineries that we enjoy on Keuka Lake. The cottage is centrally located for Keuka and Seneca Lake Wine Trails and the Watkins Glen area. The cottage was comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The lake side dock/patio offered the most amazing views around sunset. From the master bedroom, there was an amazing view of the lake. The car port was a blessing as on the morning of our departure, it was raining. Having the carport available to pack our car kept us nice and dry for the five and a half hour drive home. I really wish the the VRBO platform would allow me to upload some of the photos that we were able to capture.
