Eagle’s Nest Lake Nacimiento Modern Living
A Hidden Retreat for Paso Robles Wine Lovers — Now Featuring the Eagle’s Nest Honey Experience
Nestled among the rolling hills of Central California, just off a quiet country road, Eagle’s Nest is a private 40-acre retreat designed for guests who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
If you are craving the solitude of nature, evenings illuminated by moonlight and stars, and room to wander among wild quail, deer, peacocks, native plants, and seasonal wildflowers, Eagle’s Nest offers a truly special Central Coast experience.
The Eagle’s Nest Honey Experience 🐝🍯
One of the newest experiences at Eagle’s Nest is our developing Eagle Nest Honey Co. apiary, where guests can discover the fascinating relationship between honeybees, wildflowers, and the surrounding landscape.
Depending on the season and availability, guests may have the opportunity to learn about our beehives, observe honeybees safely from a designated area, discover how honey is produced, and sample our own small-batch Eagle Nest Honey.
Our goal is to create honey that reflects the character of this beautiful 40-acre property and the flowers and plants of California’s Central Coast.
The Honey Experience is intended to be both educational and enjoyable for adults and children. Because the apiary is a working environment, access to the beehives is controlled and guests should never approach or open a hive without supervision.
Relax, Explore & Reconnect With Nature
Start your morning sipping coffee on the deck while deer wander through the property. Practice yoga surrounded by peaceful hills, explore the property's trails, watch wildlife and honeybees move among the seasonal flowers, or simply relax and enjoy the privacy of being surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
Spend the afternoon wine tasting at one of the many nearby Paso Robles wineries, boating at Lake Nacimiento, or stay right here and enjoy the quiet.
At sunset, pour a glass of local wine, sample some Eagle Nest Honey, and watch the hills change color as another peaceful Central Coast day comes to an end.
A Private Retreat With Modern Comforts
Eagle’s Nest is an exceptional location for remote workers, artists, creatives, and writers who want the freedom and privacy to retreat or work in an inspiring natural environment while still enjoying excellent Wi-Fi and the comforts of modern living.
Families with children are also welcome. The property is self-contained and offers plenty of room to explore—or simply relax together surrounded by nature.
I built Eagle’s Nest as a place to find solitude and peace, and I am excited to share it with you. Your privacy will always be respected, but if you need anything during your stay, you can call me anytime.
Everything you can see surrounding the house is private land. Parking is located on the property with plenty of space for multiple vehicles.
Paso Robles Wine Country & Lake Nacimiento
Although Eagle’s Nest feels wonderfully secluded, downtown Paso Robles is approximately 30 miles away, where you will find local craftsmen, fine dining, specialty shops, live music, farmers markets, and the energy of one of California’s most celebrated wine regions.
With more than 200 wineries, farms, and orchards throughout the surrounding area, there is something for nearly everyone. Horseback riding, hiking, boating, wine tasting, and other outdoor activities are all available nearby.
Lake Nacimiento, sometimes called “Dragon Lake” because of its distinctive shape, is approximately a 10-minute drive from the property. Spend the day boating, enjoying the water, or relaxing and having a BBQ along the lake.
Whether you come for Paso Robles wine country, Lake Nacimiento, the wildlife, the peace and quiet, or the Eagle’s Nest Honey Experience, we hope your stay gives you an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and make lasting memories.
We look forward to welcoming you to Eagle’s Nest.
PLEASE NOTE
We do not recommend arriving at the property after dark. The country roads leading to Eagle’s Nest are narrow and are not well lit.
The property is intentionally secluded and surrounded by nature. The nearest full grocery store is approximately 20 minutes away, so we recommend picking up groceries and supplies before arriving.
Friday through Sunday, the nearby Bee Rock Store, approximately five minutes away, may offer BBQ, craft beer, and live music. Hours, food service, and activities vary by season, so please check current availability before planning your visit.
Honey Experience: Beekeeping and honey-related activities are seasonal and subject to weather, hive conditions, and availability. Guests should not enter designated apiary areas or approach beehives without permission and supervision.
