'Het was mijn eerste keer naar het VK. De kamer was zoals verwacht voor de prijs. Bed was redelijk comfortabel, al heb ik wel het matras moeten omdraaien. Het personeel was ook erg vriendelijk. 'Do not book this room, it is in a 3rd floor that through a tight stair case. If you have luggage you have to carry it all up. The water and electricity did not work until someone showed up after 30 minutes. Check in is really weird with WhatsApp conversation and key safes to unlock. Remember you have to carry all your luggage up and down a 3rd floor, and I am not talking about a regular third floor. You can consider a 5th floor in a normal building. 'The houseboat is located in a marina which looks a bit rundown, a car is absolutely necessary to go to Rochester or any other nearby village. The owners have been renovating the property for the past few years and indeed our room was nicely decorated and clean. 'We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.'
