I tried to resolve this issue with the property manager but it is more than a week later without a response. Shortly after check-in we left due to false advertising. Below is a part of the email I sent them that was not acknowledged. 1. This was not a cabin. It was not until we returned home that I found a picture of this being a duplex on your website but it was never in the listing for cabin 3 that there would be a shared wall. In the main listing picture it is clear the building next to it is not connected so one would assume it being called a cabin would follow the definition of cabin.2. The property had multiple safety concerns. The smoke detector not being set properly gave warning that it may have been tampered with to install a camera (likely without the owners knowledge) and potentially not working. The deck appeared to be neglected and unsafe to use as the wood was incredibly worn and indicated water damage from not being sealed. 3. The basic cleaning and maintenance was very lacking. The freezer being frosted over shows a lack of care or responsibility to maintain proper running amenities. The floor having clear indications of needing to be replaced due to the staining and dirt build up. I am aware that I have incredibly high expectations and a lot of people do not have the same concerns/issues with things as I do. I would not stay here, at least not in cabin 3. I cannot comment on other cabins but the exteriors were in similar condition.
