There was always someone at desk and so helpful with the check in process. So smooth. All staff even to the valets were friendly and helpful. Great location when attending a Padres game. The area around has people heading to the game and short (safe) walk to the Gaslamp district for drinks and dinner.'

'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '
