'Don't be put off by the lack of curb appeal, the apartment attached to the main home is situated at the back and has a spectacular view of the valley. The sunrise was stunning. 'We have just returned from a ten-day stay at this stunning location. The pictures do not do the listing justice, it is situated right on the river with an incredible view. The hosts were welcoming, kind, and went out of their way to make our stay work well for us. They have been extremely thoughtful about how this verbo has been set up for guests and we found everything we could possibly wish for our stay provided. 'This was a great spot to spend a couple of days exploring the Annapolis Valley and surrounding area. Tons of space for 2 people and such a lovely combination of living space, kitchen, bedroom, etc. The light provisions (coffee, tea and breakfast items) were very generous and a great way to start the day.The bedroom can be very bright with the morning sun, which might impact light sleepers. All in all, a great spot that we would definitely come back to. Thanks for having us!'

'We stayed here for a week in the Fall and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts, Shirley/Jack/Cooper are amazing (Don't tell Jack, but Cooper was our favorite) they made sure we had every thing needed to be comfortable and were extremely welcoming. The views from the bedroom are breath taking, especially on a stormy Fall evening. The community of Margaretsville is incredibly picturesque with no shortage of views and history. I highly recommend them for a quiet getaway.'

'Margaretsville is a very small, but very scenic town. Dining options are limited to a few restaraunts a short drive away from town. The accommodation is one small room adequate for single or couple only, beautifully kept, with an outside hottube and beautiful view right on the ocean. Hosts (Liz and Ray) could not be nicer or more helpful. Middleton is a good size town with all conveniences a short drive away.'

The host has all information needed to tour the area at your fingertips, comfortable rooms - with the picture window overlooking the river a favourite. Hard to pry away from that view. 'Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time.'
