'We stayed in the Basic Cabin with 1 queen, 2 twin beds. It was quaint, small, clean, old rustic and appeared to have had some renovations. The queen bed was soft and comfy. The twin bed mattresses were thin and harder. Couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work, and the gas wood stove wasn’t needed on a hot night. All the cooling came from a small window A/C unit. Communication with Abbey was great, very responsive. House was as advertised, clean, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of parking, fenced in backyard for our dog. 'We had such an amazing time! Our grandchildren had the best time sledding. My husband and son shoveled out the 3 feet of snow from the house to the fire pit, then shoveled out the fire pit area and made an igloo that surrounded it! We had the best time making s’mores and roasting hotdogs over the open fire.The highlight for me was an evening fire in the most amazing fireplace I’ve ever seen.Loved it!'

'Do you want a modern way of being outdoors but hate camping? Then look no further than this excellent new cabin on a pond! As soon as you pull up to your cabin you will say things like omg, wow, holy crap and best decision ever! Not only does the outside of the cabin looks the inside is even better! 'Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME.
