The Space:

A Pocket of Peace in the Valley by Tiny Away is a charming tiny house Queensland retreat nestled in the heart of Samford Valley, just 45 minutes from Brisbane. Close to attractions such as Natureworks Australia, Manorina, D'Aguilar National Park, and Jollys Lookout, this peaceful getaway overlooks a large dam and is surrounded by trees.



This 139-square-foot tiny home is tucked away from the main house, offering a secluded escape where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.



Designed for two adults, the tiny house features a queen-sized bed, split-system air conditioning, easy access to water, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a private bathroom. Amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower, making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home and are welcome to enjoy the pool, explore the creek at the back of the property, or take a stroll through the neighbourhood and the park next door. For safety and privacy, we kindly ask guests to avoid the gated areas and other dwellings on the property.

Surrounded by nature, our charming tiny home sits beside a council park and is close to the popular village park in Samford, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and relaxation.



From enjoying fresh coffee and breakfast at Long Yard Larder to sampling the famous donuts and pies from Kenilworth Bakery, Samford Valley offers plenty of local flavours to discover. You can also visit The Owlery, a Harry Potter-themed café located beside the magical Store of Requirements.



Want to explore more? Head to Mount Glorious, where you'll find scenic rainforest walks, stunning lookouts, and refreshing swimming holes.



For groceries and essentials, Drakes is just a short drive away, while the Green Thumb Farmers Market offers fresh local produce and artisan goods every Saturday morning.



Getting Around:

By car:

- Approximately 35 minutes from Brisbane city and 3 minutes to Samford village.



By public transport:

- The closest train station is Ferny grove, however it is still a 10 minute drive over the mountain. Car is needed for this property.



Other Things to Note:

- No WiFi available

- Free Potable Water

- Charcoal BBQ grill is available

- NO PETS OR CHILDREN ALLOWED

- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed

- All mobile carriers have poor reception in this area

- You may gather firewood from fallen branches on the property

- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving the house

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- No smoking inside, only outside on the far side of the shipping container toward the back. Please do not smoke near the tanks or the swimming pool.



Important note:



- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
