UNCLEAN, NO TOILET PAPER, UNHELPFUL “HELP” SERVICE Despite being charged a $120 cleaning deposit in advance of our arrival, we found our apartment dirty, with sticky floor tiles and unvacuumed carpet surfaces and even pins in the carpet, not to mention pieces of broken glass on the balcony. With a crawling 10 month old of course we immediately cleaned what we could to ensure my son’s safety. When we called to report this we received no response from the “service” or “emergency” number, (which actually are the same number) until the following day. The person on the phone was rude and unhelpful and said we should have taken photos ---- hmmm “hang on son, don’t eat that glass - Mummy has to take a photo” – Be realistic! There was also no toilet paper or hand soaps (so add $20 to your trip cost for those!), no hand towels in the bathrooms, and the communal hall and lift areas had spillages of soap, soft drinks and even dog poo, none of which were cleaned in the four days we were there. Very disappointing!

There was other people's rubbish left in both bathroom bins, the carpets were dirty, the oven was filthy and management do not answer any texts as this is their preferred method of communication

BEWARE What was meant to be a relaxing holiday Turned into a nightmare! After spending less than a week at 3 Springwood place Mt Gravatt I came back to my apartment to find all of my belongings have been stolen! They took everything I owned, socks underwear, even the Extra toilet paper I brought with me! There was no signs of a break in which makes me think it was an inside job! When I informed management about what happened they weren't interested! There have been other cases of people losing everything but nothing has been done to increase security! I have made a police report But I won't hold my breath! Stay away from this place It isn't safe! Stay Away or you too might lose it all!!

Amazingly beautiful
Amazingly beautiful - Felt more like a home than a 'hotel' room. While there's not much of a view, could not fault the property at all. We were SO CLOSE to everything, which was so convenient. Thought there was a pool, since it was in the photos, but there wasn't - that was my only disappointment.

All our wool carpets have been installed within the last 6 months and get steam cleaned as an when necessary, a city skyline view is only available from two of our apartments and this can not be guaranteed if you book same day / last minute. sorry you feel this is below you expectations

$120 Cleaning fee to be paid when you arrive.
It would help if the $120 cleaning fee was included in the overall price. I made the mistake of not reading further then the intial price to look for additional costs. Once in the unit I was contacted by the property manager and informed that I had to cough up an additional $120 for cleaning fees. Not a bond, but a fee.The property manager even admitted that most clients miss the cleaning fee when booking. I guess like us, they assumed that the cleaning fee would be included when paying. They must employ some of the most expensive cleaners in the world. Especially before departing, we had to make sure everything is exactly as we had found it, or else incur another cleaning fee at $100 an hour. I have to admit that the unit was very clean, with good amenities and comfortable furnishings. It was a pleasent stay except for the last night. When the people above us had friends over and decided to have an impromptu party...of sorts. The talking, yelling and furniture banging during the evening started to wear thin by about 4:30am. Then waking (I use that term loosely, as we didn't really get to sleep) up to find that they had flicked their cigarette butts onto our balcony was pushing the friendly neighbour thing to the limit.

Thankyou for your feedback, I am extremely sorry the your last night was disturbed by other guest, I wish I had known so I could of stopped immediately. I am looking into new ways of building in the cleaning fee, although it is displayed when booking, depending which affiliated partner you book with depends how they market and display this option.

Not impressed
I booked online the top floor 2 bedroom unit with city views with 2 king beds as advertised on Hotels website. What we got was a 2nd floor backview apartment with 1 king bed and 2 twin beds. Management couldn't care less though and made no real attempt to explain why the change. Also there was no basic amenities in the apartment like dishwashing liquid or toilet paper or some guest soap. We also had no wifi access at all!

Worst experience ever! Even before we got there. I tried for days to contact the manager to find out where to collect keys from and what unit. The manager has no people skills and lacks managerial skills also. Was a complete stuff around with the rooms. We had someone unlock our room at night saying they had booked in for the night and was given the same room key. When the manager was finally contacted, she asked the lady to step away from me, and blamed me for the room mix up. There was No internet connection. No covers on quilts and they were stained. The room Was dirty and smelt like cigarette smoke. My daughter had bed bug bites all over her. For a five night stay we were given one roll of toilet paper. There is only a push lock on the door, so security is poor, the people in the top unit got robbed of all the personal belongings. The complex is poorly run. Change managers and the place would probably be much better. The furnishings and layout is nice.

The property had a security breach due to a guest damaging the secure automated garage door, this is currently being repair to ensure a high level of security is maintained for all our guest, this is a very rare experience and we are extremely sorry you didn't have a good stay.

I missed 2 phone calls on two days prior to trip. I answered following the 2nd call leaving a message that I was definitely arriving the next day and advised the times I would be able to take a call should she still wish to contact me. No further phone call was made so took it that all was well. I arrived however to discover that there was no reception area so phoned the person who had previously contacted me. She said that she had tried to contact me many times (no evidence of any other missed calls) to say that she needed my bank details to charge $80 cleaning fee which I gave her on spot. She then directed me to a unit that was occupied - much to the shock of both parties! I advised her of this and she then directed me to another unit that was not clean having obviously been used prior, with bathmat on floor, unclean carpet and floor areas, unclean fridge, oven, toaster etc. I was grateful that the bed was changed as was late in evening by this time. I advised the contact person of state of unit and she said she would arrange for it to be cleaned the following day. However, the unit still did not measure up as being clean, the floor areas remained the same and the shower floor remained slippery. I have never experienced anything like this in the past!! The location suited me and the unit layout was fine. I would have liked to have used the internet as was listed would be available but no instructions were available, and my message re this was not answered.

Really enjoyed my stay here, was a very well furnished apartment felt more like a home than a hotel. Negative side is, advertised free wifi but it does not work.

Misleading and false advertising.
Hotel conditions is new but a lot of defects. No Wi-Fi on most apartment. Advertised top floor city view but you get first floor no view. Book and charged for 5 people but only given bed for 4 people. Hard to communicate with hotel management and unfriendly.

Hi Steve, Thanks for your feedback, please note that you booked a 2 bedroom apartment not a 3 bedroom. If you had booked a 3 bedroom you would have had top floor and bedding for 5 people. Perhaps you accidently booked the wrong apartment? Thanks for the feedback and safe travels

Excellent location close to shops and qsac
Check in was hard due to no office but with some mad searching all was good in the end. Rooms were really nice very spacious some minor glitches though as only newly built some things are built cheap and nasty so already falling apart and things like unable to use microwaves due to built into cabinets but power points too far away to plug in etc so can't use many of the appliance unless you carry extension leads. Excellent location shops nearby close to qsac safe locked away parking will be back
