'Everything was excellent '

'Staff were really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel was perfectly situated in the centre of Hexham. The only issues were the very few parking spaces available, and the fact we could only park for up to 2hrs with a permit during the day, if there wasn’t any space in the tiny car park. But we loved the hotel itself and would recommend. '

'A wonderful suite in the castle. The castle is wonderful. The staff are really friendly. An added bonus is the free tour of the castle, going into the history of the place and the owners overf the centuries. '

'A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. '

And they made a fuss about me not wanting to eat in the special 'dog-area' because it felt like being put away... and too hot. i wanted outside but there they didn't serve... finally it was okay but i had to stand my ground and that was not so nice after a very long day's walk... beautiful sitting area outside though!'

'Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. '

'The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from.
