'My family and I stayed at Stephanie’s property for a long weekend away and it was wonderful! The location of the property was right near town, but still a little off the main street so it was comfortable and quiet. The home provided us with plenty of space for all of us (5 grown adults) to stay and hang out. Stephanie was great the entire time and provided quick responses along with recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again as I know I’d have a fantastic trip!'

'Great place to stay in southwest harbor. About 20 minutes from the busy town of Bar Harbor. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend staying here and the host Ian was great with communications. Id only recommend more toilet paper (maybe 2 instead of 1) in the bathrooms.'

'Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards.'

'This property was a lot of fun to stay at. It’s a charming, rustic two story cottage with plenty of room for the 10 of us traveling together. It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great. Each time I contacted him, he responded almost immediately and was very helpful. All towels and linens are provided and there’s plenty of pans and dishes for cooking. 'Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy.'

'We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax for our first trip to Maine. The bed was so comfortable and the house was spotless and perfectly appointed. Our dogs are so thankful they were welcomed, too. We can’t wait to come back!'

'We enjoyed a couple of nights in this charming home. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was a nice size for preparing meals. We relaxed by the fire and enjoyed the view of the lake. All 4 of us are coffee and wine drinkers so a larger coffee pot and at least 4 wineglasses would have made it perfect.'

'This sweet cottage worked very well for us! Seal Harbor was very quiet & away from crowds. Just a short walk down the the quiet Jordan Pond Rd is a lovely carriage trail that takes you through the woods to Jordan Pond! It is a 15 minute drive to busy Bar Harbor and many of the trail heads for some spectacular hiking!'

'The house was a very nice home on a secluded road which made it all nice and quiet. This was a retirement gift trip for my parents. Overall everything was really nice. The only issue is the house has inadequate heat for the size and openness of the home. Though it was an issue the first couple nights the property managers were very nice and brought by space heaters to ensure my folks stayed warm through the chilly nights. They still enjoyed themselves and spent most of there time in Bar Harbor....

'Hot water was a bit slow to get. It’d take about 5 minutes for the hot water to even start when using the shower. Other than that, this property was very nice. Cute little cottages with everything you’d need for a hiking vacation. The owner was very responsive and nice. Great amenities on the property too which you don’t see in many other places. Will certainly book here again in the future if we return to Acadia. '
