'Breakfast was awful. Food was cold. Orange juice machine broke for days.'

'Hallway smelled like fresh paint. The sofa in the room had some stains and I dis not feel safe sitting on it. Curtain shade had lose screw and the stick off when I tried opening curtain. I feel the property, although appeared remodeled, still has a “dated motel” feel and charges too high. Breakfast is limited; “okay.” One positive is the vinyl flooring; no carpet 🙌. This was a last minutes business trip, and it served the purpose Ann last minute needs, but will not be staying at this hotel.'

'Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf van 2 dagen in The Cypress Inn. De mensen waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de kamer was heel fraai. Ook de locatie was heel mooi gelegen, vlakbij een rivier met een mooi wandelpad. Ook het ontbijt was erg lekker en de sfeer is zeer gemoedelijk. Een echte aanrader.'

'The GM showed no empathy nor sympathy to our situation. We reserved a room through Expedia, bc the prices were the lowest, just to hold on to it until we found something better. Expedia asked for my card info to reserve room only, clearly stating my card would not be charged, the information would be use to reserve the room. Didn’t think I had to read a cancellation policy. Another misleading factor that made me ok with using my card info, I had the choice to pay at property. Pay at property...

'DO NOT STAY HERE. Woman at front desk was the nastiest person I've ever encountered. No AC in lobby or hallways and absolutely FILTHY dirty. Construction in rooms looked like the landlord special. Absolutely awful experience.'

'This was just a quick one night stay as we unexpectedly drove straight through from New York to Myrtle Beach instead of stopping off, so we needed a place to stay for the night until we could check into our condo for the week. This place was beautiful, clean, the staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. Has a nice little pool, but we didn’t have time to check it out.'

'It was as expected for the price, and close to my training with a little shopping and coffee close by. This is needed because the rooms are built for rest and relaxation. However, it was clean enough, adequate water pressure, parking directly in front of my room, quiet during my stay and I was only there for two nights. I wouldn’t think all rooms are as adequate and they definitely need more renovation but adequate for what I needed.'

'We got there and it looked nice on the outside, but it looks like it hasn’t had maintenance in years. Everything is broken or cracked or peeling from the carpet to the ceiling. The inside smells terrible, and theres no noise control. The room was spacious, but the AC was damaged and inconsistent, the pillows were lumpy or brick hard and the “blanket” was a dollar store fleece blanket in between 2 sheets. And theres cockroaches:)'

'The best feature of the hotel was the pool area, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, our overall stay was impacted by several issues with our room. One of the televisions was not functioning properly and operated through a Fire Stick rather than standard cable service. In addition, the air conditioning did not cool the room effectively. Our room was located near a parking deck, and throughout the night we could hear birds chirping continuously. The noise was quite disruptive, especially...

'Not handicapped accessible AT ALL my wheelchair would not even fit through the front door of the room on top of it. There was a ledge to get over and then, once we got in the room, the wheelchair couldn't even fit in the bathroom.So I had to abandon the wheelchair and make my way into the bathroom...... I just wouldnt recommend this place The staff was nice though, but the place had cockroaches'
