'The home made for perfect stay for our family. The options for housing in this part of Maine are limited and this home was a very pleasant surprise. It made for perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We also discovered several hiking trails in the area and enjoyed the fall colors. Leanne (the owner) was very responsive and helpful.'

'Just as-advertised. A somewhat-quirky (though quaint and cozy) space above the flower shop on a local flower farm. My kids loved seeing/meeting the animals, which was a nice perk. 'Bryan and Rebekah are a wealth of knowledge about the area. They were wonderful to talk to. Cabin 5 is charming and very comfortable. Perfect place to explore the area. We visited Rockport, Camden, Rockland, Lincolnville, Belfast and Union. All easy drives from this location. Be sure to check out Mt. Battie, Breakwater Light and Heron schooner'

'The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning.'

'This was the cutest cottage for our first trip to Maine! We loved taking our dog for walks on the trails behind the house. There was plenty of wildlife and beauty right behind the house. This was the best place for birdwatching! We could hear the loons from our window at night, and we saw them in the lake a few times. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed for cooking dinners. The host, Jon, was quick to respond to our questions and made the whole...

'Our family really enjoyed their stay at this home while in town for a wedding, and it felt great to have space for everyone! The cousins shared the double bed rooms and parents got the main rooms. Two bathrooms, one being on-suite, was a bit of a challenge when it came time to get ready for bed, get ready in the morning and get ready for a wedding (also, one low quality hair dryer for the entire home and nearly empty soap bottles when we arrived) but having a well stocked kitchen and dining...

'Our trip to Maine was amazing. Our stay here in this barn everything we hoped. They had anything you would need available if you forgot something. Did not need or want for anything. Landlords were full of information at check in and very courteous. Told us about all the good places to eat and shop. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Maine. '

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
