'Marldon village is a lovely quiet area which is easily accessible to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Daisy cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.'

No smart TVs no Spotify on Alexa and the request to leave apartment clean was unacceptable as would have better service from a hotel and the price paid was high end and expectations were not met.'

'Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. 'The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain.'

'Amazing place. We enjoyed our stay and the place is very pet-friendly. The hosts are all approachable and nice.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Ash lodge. The lodge was very clean and we got to enjoy lots of beautiful sunsets and make use of the fantastic pool. It was like a home away from home, but even more comfortable and peaceful. We loved to see the chickens and cows and being treated to aunties home made cupcakes upon arrival was just what we needed. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.'

'Lovely property in a gorgeous setting, wish we could have stayed longer. '
