'The floors were filthy when we arrived. After messaging the host, he had them cleaned. It should have been clean when we arrived. Thermostat kept changing itself back to a warmer temperature each day while we were gone. So we came back to a warm unit. There were ants in the kitchen that got into our dogs’ food dish. No hair dryer or broom, even though those things were listed as amenities. '

'Communication with the host was great. House was clean and quiet. Inside had nice furnishings. Location was convenient outside of KC but not a bad drive and also close to Independence. Easy check out with minimal "chores " which was great.'

'Do not stay at this property. The pictures of the inside of the house are nice, notice there are no pictures of the neighborhood or outdoors spaces, this is for a reason. The house backs up to an extremely loud and busy street. The house is old and paper thin walls, we could hear every car and person walking by - ambulances all night and on the second night we heard gunshots in the distance. We felt unsafe and didn't sleep.
