'Probably best location on the island, the house was surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies, we enjoyed them every night coming close to the house. 'This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly.'

'Highly recommend anyone to stay here who has a family and loves being surrounded by nature and also close to the beach. The house was clean and homey, and the washer and dryer came in really handy. Only 15 minutes from Pennashaw and 30 minutes from Kingscote.'

'From the moment we turned town the driveway to Wedgetail Down we felt like we were in a movie set. 'The apartment was easy to get to and was great as a home base as we explored the island. It was clean and tidy when we got there and the owners were great to talk to and helpful with any problems we had. Would rent these apartments again next time we go there.'

'Property was in a great location. Island beach is so beautiful. Very well equipped and the slow cooker was a bonus. Overall nice and clean, although there were empty bottles and cans all over the fish cleaning sink which we couldnt use. This was cleaned up however at the end of our trip. Beds were a bit firm for my liking but clean and warm. Had some visits by local kangaroos, wallabies and the beautiful birds on KI and also some local chooks! A bit of a hick up when we arrived to locked doors...

'Excellent accommodation, comfortable spacious house in a peaceful quiet location. Very well set up. Close to Kingscote, 15 minute drive and central location, easy drive to most sights on KI. Loved walking on the beach every evening watching the sun set. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at White Shells, KI. The house was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Kevin and Sue.'

'Location is great and place is nicely set up open plan layout with pool table which the kids loved. The only issue we had was the general cleanliness of the place it could really use a good clean. Rugs and floor mats also need replacing. These things bring down the experience of an otherwise nice property.'
