'The home is older, but well kept. It was pretty clean with the exception of some dead bugs in the laundry area room and some corners, and a few cob webs, but it is a lake house, so both of these things are kind of expected. Grass was a little overgrown to walk through, but the views made up for that too. House was very well equiped with games, Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for meal prep, pretty much all standard items needed for a stay were provided. My really only complaint was...

The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you need for water adventures—kayaks, paddle boards, a pedal boat, plus life jackets for all ages. It’s a peaceful, quiet location with a fantastic outdoor area that made our stay really enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and have fun on the water!'

"I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either."
