'We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature.'

'It was a very special stay. One of the best views over the Tuscan valley. Amazing sunset right in front of the house. The build quality of the house and used materials is top notch. Still cannot believe it. No details have been missed. A wine cooler in your room. The infinity pool was magical as well. Anna is a great host and she carries the owners believe in a true experience very well. It’s unbelievable they can offer this kind of level at this price range. Highly recommend! '

'Whilst the infrastructure and location were classic Tuscany, the hospitality (staff engagement & food) were underwhelming. It never felt welcoming & it was challenging to discern who were the owners, staff or guests. It was often unclear how their systems operated, ie how to purchase wine/drinks, when dinner or breakfast would be available & the service was extremely slow.
